Fanelli Landscape is the epitome of a family-​owned business on Staten Island.
It has been in the family for 3 generations now going back to the 1950’s. Now owned by a nephew of the original owners.
It has always been my go-​to place for all my gardening needs, from soil, to fertilizers and everything in between. They have a nice selection of vegetables, I even noticed they have a small selection of fig trees last time I was there (good thing I don’t really have the room in our yard).
It has definitely changed over the years, and if I can use a pun, it has grown. It has grown in size as they now have Cambridge pavers, shrubs, outdoor kitchens and fire pits. The only down side for me as an urban gardener is that they did not have a large selection of herbs outside of basil. Even that sells out fast.
Their website appears to still be under construction but what they do have looks impressive. I would recommend checking them out for your backyard needs.
