I became a patient of Dr. Glaser because the New Yorker ranked him as one of the best doctors in NYC. If he is one of the best, I would hate to see one of the worst. The reason I gave him 2 stars is he does know his job. Everything else about the experience is just plain horrible. You make an appointment and you will end up waiting over 2 hours after, as they take in patient after patient that just walks in.(He only sees patients Weds and only at his Richmond Rd office). No one makes an appointment and the office is utter chaos. While I have insurance, his billing practices border on being illegal, thousands of dollars billed for tests that seemed entirely unnecessary. Recently with a cancer diagnosis, he thought it was a laughing matter and made light of it. I am blessed that it was negative, but I will never get over his laugh about it. If you value your time, steer clear, because he does not value yours, only your insurance.
