First time I used them: fine. Pick up and delivery were on time and polite, the laundry was in good order. Second time I used them: disaster. They were super late for pick up… and they lost one of my laundry hampers. I told the manager about it, but nobody ever got back to me. I won’t be using them again.

This is the first review I have ever left on Unilocal.
I found island Fresh Laundry online while searching for laundry pick up service in Staten Island.
I hesitated after reading all the negative reviews but decided to give it a try any way.
I called the number which went straight to voice mail. Then I went online to their website and made a laundry pick up appointment online for the next day Saturday 10 – 11. I received a confirmation email. Wasn’t sure if all the information was there so I called and left a voice mail just in case
Long story short, nobody ever called me .
Nobody ever showed up to pick up laundry
Terrible and unreliable service !

I’m so surprised by the bad reviews! I love island fresh laundry! You can arrange for a pickup and pay online (super convenient). Everything is done super well. My laundry is folded, smells amazing, and I don’t have to do it! Also, I put in a small bag inside my huge bag of laundry and specifically asked them not to dry anything in it (didn’t want shrinkage). It was returned wet and on hangers! Even better than what I asked! Island fresh laundry makes living without a washer/dryer possible!

Firstly time, excellent. Ordinarily, I like doing my own laundry, but since I was having an operation, I would need a company to pick up/drop off my clothes.
Second order, after surgery: they never showed up. They didn’t return emails and they didn’t return calls. I placed the order just as I had the first time, but this time they never showed at the arranged pick up time and have subsequently ignored all my attempts to reach them.
They’ll go out of business in short time because they don’t value their customer base. DON“T USE THEM.

Clothes came back damp to wet depending on fabric; they did not use my detergent despite promises to do so, leaving me needing to redo all the wash due to an allergic reaction to their soap. All in all an expensive experience. Wish I had read Sean’s review first!
