If it was possible I would give them zero stars. My daughter was born stillborn on ¹²⁄₂₃ and in the midst of this we were handed a paper with funeral home contact on it by the hospital staff. On ¹²⁄₂₄ I called Scalia to arrange my daughters funeral and I was led to believe it was how we wanted it and also informed they would send someone to pick up my daughter from the hospital morgue. On ¹²⁄₂₆ after a horrendous Christmas we found out that the «Guardian Angels» section at Resurrection was basically (for lack of better words) a mass baby grave which was not what we wanted, if I had known this I would not have agreed to that type of service. We contacted a second funeral home which went a lot more in depth as to what we wanted or would like and gave us every option possible, upon calling Scalia to inform them we would be switching funeral homes Scalia became abrasive and called me asking why we were switching. I informed them we didn’t understand what the Guardian Angel section was and would not have agreed to this which was responded to by informing me I just didn’t ask the right questions. (Because I know this type of stuff a day after watching my daughter die). Scalia proceeded to tell the other home they didn’t have the needed paperwork or that it was missing something, somehow the other home managed to have them release the paperwork and sent a driver to get my daughter within an hour. Scalia never even went to get my daughter between calling at 9AM on ¹²⁄₂₄ and 5PM on ¹²⁄₂₆ (I’ll give them Christmas as its a holiday). If Scalia had issues or problems then why not call me? Tell me? Let me try to help! I don’t care about anything but knowing my daughter was safe somewhere and would get what she deserved. Which she finally got thanks to another funeral home.
