Best vodka slice on Staten Island!

For the last 4 – 5 years I would say this was my favorite Pizza spot in Staten Island. I even suggested and have people from NJ going here for Piazza… But recently the service has been shit… i went to this restaurant yesterday 5÷15÷2016 at around 2PM. I asked the gentleman for Sauted Spinach with Grilled Chicken. The person told me they don’t have that in the menu which is weird since I’ve always ordered this for the last 4 – 5 years… so I said ok let me get instead the Broccoli and chicken with cream sauce entry with a side salad to go. Order was placed at 2:00PM. While sitting and waiting for the order I looked at the Menu and the Sauted spinach with chicken is showing on the menu under side order. So I was pissed as the gentleman that took my order did not know the restaurant own menu. But I let it be being and waited for my order. At 2:30PM I asked gentleman for my food and he said it should be ready in few minutes. After another 15 minutes… I asked for it again and he said he will follow up… and one of the other gentleman said he just gave my order to someone else… he asked if he can make it again but I have better things to do than wait for another 45minutes for the food to come out. so i requested for my money back… no apology from restaurant part at all… guy goes to register and gives me my money… and this reason i will never ever go there again. food has been sloppy anyways and i can honestly say i will never ever go here or suggest this to be the best pizza in staten island again… avoid at all cost as the quality and service has diminished…

This is one of my spot to go to satisfy my pizza craving!
I tried a few different slices and they are made with fresh ingredients, good cheese and the pizza dough is tasty. They seem never to fail me yet. (Like those reviews) Fresh Mozzarella and sicilian is my favorite.
I even liked their eggplant rolls and spinach rolls, it is so stuffed and yes they are a little light with cheese and the tomato sauce. I usually ask for extra sauce so I can dunk my roll into the sauce.
My parents and I ate in once, I was surprised how good the food was for dinner time. I enjoyed my mother’s eggplant parm. I enjoyed my dish, I had chicken marsala. My father, he had creamy shrimp sauce, lemme tell you, the sauce was so good and it boggles me that they had to use frozen shrimp. A good sauce with frozen shrimp, it did not sit well with me. However we just know for next time not to order shrimp ever again. The calamari was delish and zucchini chips is wonderful.

This pizzeria is a staple in my family’s usual lunch/​dinner choices. The pizza is decent, but their lunch specials can’t be beat. $ 6 for a delicious, large portion of spaghetti and meatballs, baked ziti, or many other choices. I love it.
In the past, I’ve heard of sanitary problems in this establishment and their public NYC health inspection has made me a little uneasy in the past, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt because the food is usually delicious. Unfortunately, after my most recent order, I’m a little uneasy once again. My father and I ordered lunch for pick up, which comes with bread. Inside of the bread was MOLD. I could not believe it. The food was also unusually salty. I’m hoping it was an off day, considering they’re usually consistent. It will take some time until I return here.

Regular slice is hit and miss, I’d say good 80% of the time. My favorite is the vodka slice. It is literally the best I’ve had so far. It’s a cute place when you go toward the back; it’s quiet and you can sit there and watch tv like I do on break sometimes. Also, good rice balls and large croquettes.

Simply the best specialty slices on staten island. Haven’t had a better buffalo slice yet.

Been getting pizza here ever since it opened. The selection they have is amazing. The Buffalo Slice and vodka pan slice are my personal favorites. The staff is very friendly as well. I’ve also gotten pasta, heroes and wraps and I’ve never had a problem. Everything is great. In roughly 16 years of getting food from here I literally have never had a bad experience. My out of town family always wants to get pizza from this place when they are here.

Hugely disappointing… Picking up the first slice… the toppings??? where is the extra toppings I paid for? rest of the pizza was hard as a rock… whole thing was burnt onto the board… I ordered a large sicilian… The base was thus obviously sodden… a white flabby… dry/​burnt lump of dough… this wasn’t pizza… this was crap…

I’ve been coming here for literally my entire life. It’s my absolute favorite for any kind of pizza, but I gotta say the regular slice is my preferred. It’s simple but it’s simple done completely right. Lunch specials are inexpensive yet amazing quality and quantity. Great neighborhood pizzeria. I always joke to my family saying that once I move away from Staten Island, I’m going to come back just to have a slice. Great service too.

Good pizza but the eggplant rolls are way too bready. They could take a few lessons from Brothers. Also they got a C rating from the health department. Not good

Excellent service and great chicken parmigiana and penne al la vodka. Great portions (huge) and easily can share with others.
Been ordering from here for a few years.
If food is not up to par, let them know and they’ll be happy to fix that for you.

As a kid who grew up on the East Shore you can imagine how moving to the west shore would be a little shocking for me. The panic ensues: where am I going to get pizza now?! This may seem a trivial concern with such a high frequency of pizzerias on the island, but I know that I like to have a favorite and a go-​to joint in the back of my mind at all times. The best part about my moving to Bullshead has got to be my new-​found favorite pizzeria. I’ve ordered from here several times since my move and have always been satisfied. Yesterday I finally tried the vodka pie and I know that now I am going to have a difficult time settling for any other vodka sauce. Even my own seems to pale in comparison though I’m still proud of it. You can be great without being the master. I also had the eggplant parmigiano ergo this establishment will never be just a pizzeria to me again. Keep up the good work and I’ll keep up my business!

It’s funny how negative reviews and extremely positive reviews make people write them. For example. I’ve eaten here plenty of times. And I’ve always liked the food and specialty slices. But never wrote a rave review. Yesterday for the first time I ordered a Sicilian pie. And it was ok. And I immediately wanted to write a review reflecting that. But then I remembered how great everything else is. So! Onto the positive. I’ve always had great dine in service and delicious food and slices. As for yesterday I did not like how thick the Sicilian was. It will not deter my business or recommendation. Ill just stay away from the squares from now on.

I love this place. It is my go to for pizza and pasta. I have been coming here for 3 years, and it always satisfies my cravings.
I suggest ordering during lunch, because everything is only 6 bucks, you can’t beat that. There is a wide range of pizzas, and pasta dishes. I recommend the Penne Vodka, the fried Calamari, and the chicken francese slice are all to die for.
When you order a pasta dish or entrée to stay, they will bring it right to your table for you, with complementary freshly baked bread. Their are plenty of seats, which includes a back room for parties and such. Their prices are very reasonable and will definitely be coming back.

I like this place because there are so many options for slices. I’ve heard the chicken francaise slice is amazing. My dad gets one as his meal. I like the vodka slice, white slice and plain. The tomato sauce is a bit tart. Also, they carry diet rootbeer. I only go there for take out rather than delivery. When I had it delivered once it was very undercooked. Overall, it’s a good neighborhood spot.

The worst Chicken Fracas Pie I’ve. The Worst Pie I’ve ever eaten. FLA Pizza put this pie to shame. 36,20 in the trash can…
To the owner. I’ve been coming to your Pizza place for years. Your Chicken Frances pie was the best.
I suggestion If the guy that made the pie is new. Fire Them ASAP. Perhaps you could recoup our business.
If not Cut ur losses and get another job.
Why did you change your crust mix? NO cheese, Chicken dry and skimpy. skimpy. Embarrassing. I was bragging about the pie and served it to guest. saying it’s better than Dominos and Papa Johns. OUCH. They were leaps and bounds better.

Have ordered from this place a few times. For Staten Island not too bad and that’s not really saying much.
The pan pizza today was the worse. Over cooked on the bottom/​crust and under cooked in middle with very limited dough.
Did I call and complain? Would have only gotten myself more frustrated since it would have gotten me nowhere.
I just won’t order from them again and save my money by cooking in.

I like coming to this pizzeria when visiting family in the area. They have lunch specials from 11:30 to 3:30 for $ 6.
They have a very varied menu with many appetizers and about 25 different specialty pies. Including whole wheat and gluten free items from pizza to pasta. For the pasta if you order whole wheat or gluten free (penne or linguine) it is $ 1.50 extra.
They are open seven days a week from 11 to 11 Monday — Thursday. 11 to midnight Friday and Saturday, 12 to 11 on Sunday.
It seems to be a popular place for the local HS Moore Catholic as I was there for lunch as school was getting out. Luckily I was ordering my food to go so I was in and out pretty quickly before the kids took over :).
I picked up two whole wheat slices for myself, two spinach rolls and a plain slice for a friend.
They have a catering menu, delivery service and sell gift certificates.
Healthy pizza, healthy pasta who would have thought? This is why I bumped it up to 4 stars. Most pizzerias don’t have these options.
