As far as 99¢ stores go, this one has a nice big selection and I might even rank it a cut above other discount stores.

Hard to get to without a car but the deals more than make up for it. On my last visit alone I scored some Ellie nailpolish, a Chinese Laundry handbag and this awesome green dress for $ 25 that originally retailed for over $ 100! Very well organized store and very clean.

Manhattan, NY
This Lot-​Less location might not be worth a trip from my house all on its own, since I can get to the Manhattan locations more easily — but it’s in the same shopping plaza as Net Cost Market, which is definitely worth the trip.
It’s a spacious, clean, organized closeout store where there are some deals to be found. I got: brand-​name men’s briefs (black), 4 pairs for $ 10. (List price: $ 24. per pair). Nothing wrong with ‘em and my guy likes ‘em. A Land’s End swim top: $ 2.99 (list price $ 50.) A Totes umbrella for $ 5. And then I just couldn’t resist throwing half a dozen 99 cent Sally Hansen nail polishes into my shopping basket… because, you know, I NEED more nail polish.
