Makeovers

Rude managers/​owners and the service sucked. I left with a neck full and ears covered with hair dye. The girl washing hair needs training. Won’t go be going back.

Let me tell you first off that this is not only a salon. They are a retail store as well which carries every hair product like imagineable, bags (formal and casual), jewelry, hats, scarves, wigs, nail polish, hair appliances (blow dryers curling irons flat irons etc), sunglasses, and so much more that I can’t even name it all. They have everything I could ever need. Not only do they have everything but they are all so nice and friendly which is very important to me. Amazing customer service and amazing results from the salon as well. I suggest everyone to walk into makeovers it’s a great experience!!!

Great place stuffed with tons of product. You’ll find what you need quickly if you ask the person at the counter. I’m a fan for many years

Stay away from here really poor service I would rather go to essentials in the mall then to this store, people extremely rude I got chased around the store by some rude Mexican girl who practically made me feel like I was stealing, to the aged women in the counter who acts like she really doesn’t need the business, will never return here all the items in the store can be purchased elsewhere with better service, I have been here several times but this last weekend I vowed that it was the last time, overpriced for the bad service I have to deal with, hopefully they will close down like the other store on new dorp did, and well now I realize why it did, I wonder if the same people worked in that one

I personally do not like this place. Very over priced and the quality of their work is not that good. Wouldn’t go here again.

I am so happy that I found someone comparable to my previous hairstylist that I loved so much! Lynn is the hairdresser I have found at Makeovers a few months ago and have been very happy with my hair cut, coloring and blowouts done by her. I have thick, long curly hair and she knows exactly how to manage it. I always leave the salon feeling fabulous!!! I highly recommend Lynn at makeovers!

This is my absolute favorite place to get my hair & makeup done. I even like to buy all of the things that they have for sale like nail polish & jewelry. I always go to the same girl Michele! She is the greatest. She does it all, makeup, hair & she gives hair cuts & dye jobs. She’s the nicest girl & I love how she does my hair & makeup. You just have to make an appointment with her fast because she’s that good & gets booked! All of the girls that work there are very nice & helpful. I recommend this place if you want to look GREAT & get lots of compliments :)

There is not other place like this anywhere in the whole country! Believe me, I travel for a living as a Professional Makeup Artist and stylist. They have everything from head to toe! I challenge anyone who can tell me another store better than this, specially in Staten Island.
