I found a Groupon deal of $ 42 to get a $ 95 worth of 60-​minute signature massage, so I came here for the first time to give it a try to help sooth the soreness in my body. I am so pleased by my decision! This place looked elegant and clean, and it smelled good and fresh. The salon area looked fancy, and the massage room looked very relaxing and clean. Marina did my massage. Her hands were super soft, and she was very friendly and very good at her work. The rubbing she did on me was perfect and surely helped to loosen up my tight muscle. The massage bed was heated, so it added extra effect of relaxing my body. There is even a shower in the massage room, for guests to rinse off after a body scrub. I’d surely like to come again!

I come here for my haircuts and blowouts for a while now and i have never been dissapointed. They always did such a great job no matter who ive used as my stylist. I never thought to write a review until today when i went for a massage. It was the best one i have ever had compared to other places. They really paid attention to every part of my body. Sooo relaxing. They put this eye mask on that smelt like heavenly pastries and the girl was SUPER sweet and nice. I will definitely go back. And most importantly, it was worth the money. I like that although theyre a high end salon, their prices compare to every other salon in a favorable way. =)

Went here for the first time to get a mani/​pedi. Eva took her time and gave me excellent service. She was also very friendly and warm. They let you soak your feet in the warm water for a little while before they get started which I appreciate. This isn’t an in-​and-​out mani/​pedi type place so make sure you have blocked off enough time to relax. I will be back!

Came here for a last minute updo and makeup application. Stylist gave me exactly what I wanted and was very friendly. Prices are very reasonable, I’m glad I found this neighborhood gem! I also came here for a massage/​facial promotion they had and the services were excellent. I was not pressured to buy any of their products either which is always a plus!

I came to this salon to get my nails done and had a great experience! The salon was very clean and nicely designed. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Sonja did my nails and she was very friendly. We chatted the entire time she did my nails and she did a great job. She did Light Concepts and they look so natural and have stayed really well for almost two weeks now. Will definitely be going back!

Love this place! As a Staten Island girl, I can appreciate a good salon and nail place. Mancini does haircut dye waxing nails extension make up, I have come to Christine for years. They are up to date in all the new colors, cuts and fashion trends so I know when I go here I can always count on on them to make me look fashionable! (since I’m stuck indoors in residency most of my life I can sometimes lack in this department lol) I asked for my assymmetric grown out Frankie Sander haircut (last touched) to be cleaned up and to add bangs and give me the balayage look with deeper chocolate/​red tones for fall winter. Christine also suggested a B3 treatment since I was complaining my hair was crunchy– and VOILA! 2 hours later I have a great change to a washed up hair color and grown out haircut! Def come here for your beautifying needs!

I bought the groupon for either a facial or a 60 minute massage. The facial was the only appointment I could get before the expiration date (for my discretion I will say I forgot about the groupon and booked last minute.) Galina was my artist and she was brilliant! She made me comfortable and gave great advice. It was my first and I am pleasantly happy.

Came here as part of a bridal party for my cousins wedding. I got an updo and my makeup done. The updo came out nothing like what I asked. If I would show you the picture of what I asked for and how my hair actually came out you would laugh. What I asked for was very loose and natural. My hair was super tight and hair sprayed to no end. If the stylist couldn’t replicate what I asked she should have expressed that.
My makeup came out okay. Nothing spectacular. One thing that did bother me was that I asked for two layers of foundation. That is how I do my own makeup when I go to an event. The girl said she doesn’t do it that way because it looks cakey. I told her I didn’t care. She still didn’t do what I asked. I didn’t want to complain that day because it was more about my cousin and her wedding then me liking my hair. I won’t be back.

Friendly, attentive, and accommodating staff. Stylist are extremely talented and strive to make your image come alive. Salon is spotless. You may want to make your appointments in advance the senior stylist book fast although the junior stylists are just as talented. I definitely recommend this salon for a variety of services, especially special occasion hair and makeup. Stephanie and Melissa are excellent!

Melissa is amazing for hair and makeup. She made me out so beautiful for my sister’s wedding this September!!! Talented, beautiful woman! So sweet too! I love the salon as well. The salon is nice, clean, modern and the reception staff are all very helpful and gorgeous too. You can’t go wrong.

I stopped in for a blowdry this past Sunday. I’m giving this salon 3 stars because even though my stylist and the apprentice where amazing, the welcoming and reception was not!
As soon as I walked through the door I heard cursing coming from the reception desk. I check in and I was told to sit down never asked If I wanted a coffee or water. HELLO?! Your the face of this salon! Learn how to properly greet a client! Other then the piss poor greeting everyone else was great. But for me first impressions are key!
If you want to charge high end prices you need to be giving top notch customer service!

Very pretty, upscale and elegant looking spa. Hidden in this spa is esthetician Galina who used to work at the Grotto Spa. She is so good and worth being followed anywhere. Treatment was amazing as usual. My skin looked and felt fabulous. She always customizes the treatment to whatever your skin needs at the time, and as always my skin felt rejuvenated for days after the treatment.

Pretentious little place that’s all show and very little talent. Went there on an Amazon voucher for a massage. I had high expectations but piss poor results. Had a 3pm appointment that the masseuse kept me waiting for 15 minutes. Took me to an ice cold back room and attempted to make feeble conversation when all I wanted was a massage. Paid for 60 minutes but received 40 minutes that was mediocre at best.
The mob wife wanna be at the front desk had the nerve to ask for $ 1.76 tax that Amazon did not collect. It is my guess that this place will be a Dunkin Donuts next year. I’m still amazed at what passes off for a SPA on Staten Island.

Still a client of Kristine and extremely pleased. I have even sent co-​workers to her that are now her clients. So glad that I won that gift certificate! (Usually I tip in cash but my last time there I tried to put the tip on my card and that wasn’t an option so make sure to bring cash.)

A trendy, upscale salon. I’ve tried Stephanie and most recently Angelica and she was great. Listened to exactly what I wanted and I left very pleased. I would definitely recommend this salon.

I went to Mancini Giuffre to get my hair and makeup done for my role as a bridesmaid at a wedding. I had called 2 weeks in advance to book my 9am hair appointment with Stephanie and was instructed by the front desk that it was «imperative I arrive with my hair washed and blown out and ready to go». At that time, I had also scheduled my make up appointment and an appointment with Stephanie for my sister «right after my appointment» and my mother had scheduled a hair appointment with anyone available at 12:30 unless they could squeeze her in earlier.
As instructed, I arrived 7 minutes prior to my appointment, checked in with the front desk and brought over to sit in a stylists chair and told I would be prepped for a wash and dry. I told the girl that I had already washed and dried my hair that morning as instructed by the front desk upon scheduling my appointment. She seemed a bit bewildered and went to confirm with the front desk, came back and said, «Okay someone will be with you» and sit I did for about 15 – 20 minutes while I was asked if I wanted a cup of tea or coffee. The girl at the front desk had come back and forth to confirm my appointment and what I was told upon scheduling appointments for myself, my sister and my mother that day. Turned out, Stephanie who I originally wanted to do my hair was booked and I was sent to another stylist for my hair. At this point I was a bit annoyed by the miscommunication among the front desk and staff, not knowing what was going on/​scheduling hiccups and was in a time crunch to be ready for the bride’s house.
I was a bit nervous because I did not know or hear about the girl’s work but had no choice in the 2 hours I had to get ready. I sat back and let the stylist curl and set both my hair and extensions while I sat with another bridesmaid and her sister who happened to have bumped into who were getting their hair done too. Although I was sure to be very vocal about what I was hoping to achieve, my stylist listened, asked questions, and offered suggestions/​options which I appreciated.
Melissa did my makeup and she was awesome. Personable, talented and made me up feeling like a million bucks. Lucky for me, Stephanie came over to braid me and apologized for the confusion and miscommunication with the front desk which I appreciated and know she must be in high demand because that girl can do hair awesome. I was then passed to my original stylist who made some finishing touch ups and off I went to be at my bride’s beck and call feeling FABULOUS.
I’m really torn between 3 and 4 stars on this one. When I call in advance to make and confirm an appointment with a certain stylist, I do not want to be pushed onto someone else last minute when I arrive at the salon. It would be one thing if I had made an appointment for whoever but I DID NOT. So 3 stars for the scheduling crap and being left to wait having no idea what is going on. Also, Mancini can be a bit pricy (Hair and makeup came to about $ 188+tip). Despite the price, I was counting my lucky stars that I was satisfied with the finished product despite having someone I did not know or intentionally make an appointment with. I won’t focus on the «what ifs» (i.e. what if i was charged $ 188 for a hairstyle I was not satisfied with AFTER I was pushed onto a styist I had not intentionally made an appointment with. Yea probably would have DIED) So instead, I’ll choose to focus on the positives: the work of my stylist, braiding by Stephanie and makeup by Melissa.
Tip: Just call in advance and confirm details in case they pull a switcheroo on you too.

I made an appointment at this salon to have my hair and make up done for my baby shower because it is the only upscale salon in the neighborhood I just moved into. I didn’t know what to expect. The receptionist was pleasant and I had no problem making the appointment. I liked that they did not ask for a credit card to reserve the reservation. While I have no problem providing a credit card if a salon asks for it, it does make them seem desperate to ask.
When I arrived, I was very impressed with the beauty of the salon. It bright, clean and open. I was offered a cappuccino, coffee, tea or water, and efficiently whisked away to have my hair washed with the most heavenly smelling products I have ever encountered. Christina was my make up artist and Anna did my hair. Both were extremely courteous and professional and did a great job and listened to my directions and executed what I wanted perfectly. They are highly recommended.
My hair and make up lasted ALL DAY and I might add it was a very hot and humid day. When it came time to pay, there were no surprises. I was charged the price I had been quoted on the phone weeks earlier when I made the appointment. Not cheap, but worth every penny. Good Job Mancini Guiffre. highly recommended.

I had a few hair disasters from some places when a friend recommended i go see Sal. I made an appointment and he is almost the only person i let touch my hair now. he moved to this salon so now this is where i go.
It is a huge bright open space always full of people. Very clean and only there for maybe a year or so. It is a little more pricey than id normally like but everyone here is so good with hair. The parking lot out front can be a little crazy since the restaurants opened on either side, but there is street parking too.
