I luv the work that they do. I moved here 17 years ago and 5 years ago my go to dry cleaner in Bulls Head closed down. The Bulls head owner, Bob recommended Maria Dry Cleaners & Tailoring Boutique. They have been very good to me. The alterations are impeccable. I spend a lot of money on my clothes and I trust them 100%!

When I was looking for a place to have a gown hemmed a friend of mine recommended that I go to Maria’s. I couldn’t be happier. Maria and Gabriella were very professional, prompt, and friendly. I actually went there a few days before I needed the dress and they were able to accommodate me and have my dress hemmed in a short amount of time. It came out beautiful and fit perfectly. Thank you Maria & Gabriella.

I had previously left a bad review, but they are trying to make things right.
Gabriella is very compassionate toward her clientele and genuinely cares that they are happy and truly satisfied.

I cannot say enough good things about Maria Cleaners & Tailoring Boutique. I am very particular about my clothing when it comes to washing it, let alone making alterations. I am from NJ and needed an experienced professional tailor in 2007 in Staten Island. My mother-​in-​law recommended going there.
As soon as I walked in, I knew i was in the right place. Maria and Gabriella are absolutely wonderful to work with and make you feel like you’re part of the family.
The work is quality and it shows.
I have been going back for the past 7.5 years and I’m never disappointed. I had a complicated dress that needed to be altered in December 2013 and every single person that I saw at the affair told me how gorgeous the dress was that night.
More recently, in May 2014, I needed an extreme alternation job done on a bridesmaid dress that I had ordered too big to begin with in the fall, and after losing a significant amount of weight since it became 8 sizes too big.
I knew the only people that I’d trust to do the job, and do it well were Maria and Gabriella.
I walked in with this HUGE dress and it basically needed to be altered completely, while still keeping the integrity of the original style. This was not a job for a novice and it took multiple fittings that were scheduled into my busy life. They worked around my schedule — which was not easy as I am often out of town for work.
When the dress was completed, it was absolutely perfect. Nobody even knew that the original dress was literally big enough to fit two of me. This was no easy task and I wouldn’t have trusted this to any old dry-​cleaners/​tailor on the corner.
I absolutely love working with Maria and Gabriella and recommend them to anyone looking for quality work with integrity. It’s the kind of service that you don’t find everyday — it’s old world Italian craftsmanship and I truly value it.

I wouldn’t even give this place 1 star. I gave them my bridesmaid dress on ³⁄₁₆ for minor alterations. (add cups, hem and take in the sides) I got it back today (4/09.wedding is ⁴⁄₁₂!!!) and nothing was done except the hem!!! They kept postponing my pick up date stating that they are busy and backed up with proms. Well if you were that busy, you shouldn’t have taken on my dress! They had three weeks to do nothing. Good job! Then they had the nerve to try to charge me $ 120! They didn’t press my dress either. I threw a fit and they dropped it to $ 105. They are lucky I even paid them that much. I urge you to stay away from this place. Oh and they don’t take credit cards! Shady if you ask me.
