I’m being generous with the 4 stars here b/c the décor is not really up to par, but it is clean, and massage chairs all working. Great nail color selection. They don’t bother you or secretly add more crap/services; it was a relaxing experience and my nails looked lovely. The price makes it worth the blinding fluorescent lighting!

Very pissed off at their service! I brought my mom to the saloon for gel manicure, which I know is $ 25. We told the manicurist that it is my mom’s first time for such a manicure. Somewhere in the midst of the procedure, the manicurist offered to add some powder because my mom said that her nails are thin and she wants them cut very short(she felt that long ones would break). Mom thought that adding powder was something that they do to harden the nails and comes at no extra charge(normally, if anything costs extra, they always mention it!) In the end her nails turned out looking quite fat, like little droplets and she was wondering why she agreed to this in the first place, as powder was not necessary at all. But the biggest surprise was the time when we had to pay — the powder turned out to be $ 25 extra, and the whole manicure ended up being $ 50! When we asked why were we not warned, the woman said that the price is on the wall and we should have known! The lady was obviously tricking us, and the owner(the other lady that seemed to be in charge) looked embarrassed but said nothing. This experience was absolutely abhorrent, especially considering my mom never asked for it and did not need it because her nails are so short! Never ever will I come to this place again. Liars! ;(

Fill ins with Shirley are a must! Since I stopped wrapping I will get a Manu pedi only sometimes and eyebrow wax. Since hurricane Sandy they have updated the damaged furnishings and pedi chairs. Place is moderately busy — usually less than a 15 minute wait. Good services for the cost. Been a regular here for more than ten years now. It’s kinda no frills, nothing super fancy — it works. :)
