First time here and i have to say its a shame that i hadn’t come here sooner. Im rating 5 stars based on typical diners NOT saying its a fine 5 star restaurant! Its your typical diner set up and atmosphere but the thing thats most important(the food) was very good, i had the french dip panini with the Au Jus and sweet potato fries(with gravy for dipping the fries). It was very good and i suggest you try it too . It was a little late(around 2:30am) so naturally there were a few tables with the typical young drunk Donkeys acting like fools but it didnt take away from our experience, we still enjoyed our food . My company had burgers and fries and they were all very satisfied too. This diner will definitely be my go to diner from now on . The head guy which seemed to be the owner or maybe head manager was very funny and kind, as i was paying for the bill he asked«how was your visit» and i replied EXCELLENT with no hesitation and he was so happy with my response, he laughed and said«wow thank you that was one of the best answers I’ve heard» and went and grabbed 2 large chocolate chip cookies and said«here enjoy these too and thanks for the compliment, we look forward to serving you again in the future». Great food, great service and fair prices with large portions, more than enough parking available, we will definitely be back . Keep up the great work Page Plaza Diner !!

Great breakfast. Great accommodating staff even during a holiday like Mother’s Day where they were insanely busy. We come here for late night & for breakfast and it’s always good. Typical diner food eith a nice and clean atmosphere

Love this place! I travel from the other side of the Island, past many other diners to go there. My absolute favorite thing to eat is the Onion rings. The best on the island, they also have a ton of great stuff on the menu and daily specials. It is so much more than regular diner food. The place is spotless and the owners/mangers are very nice. The parking can be tough, but it is so worth it. They also have a private party room and they cater.

Ordered chicken francese over pasta… could serve about 3 or 4 people. Absolutely delicious!

One of the few decently run diners on Staten Island. I personally think they have some of the best Gyros on SI when I’m craving a late nite snack. :)

This is a Diner in a strip mall. We ordered eggs because $ 15.99 for a hamburger or a panini is ridiculous! The toast was brought out about 7 minutes before the eggs, otherwise the food was decent. There were 3 tables in use and service was«sad,» to be kind. This is a Diner and should have Luncheonette prices, otherwise, it should be called a restaurant. I can’t understand why someone would open a Diner in the former Waldbaums shopping plaza and price their menu as if they were in Manhattan.

Wish i could give a better rating but this place has some of the rudest waitresses ever. There are only a few nice ones. The food is sometimes good and sometimes bad. They need to fix this place especially the workers

Service was very good food was just ok. Ordered a burger and it was way over cooked. A shame as it had real grill flavor but not even a hit of pink was but dry as a result.

Went here for Mother’s Day and it was very busy. They did make a few mistakes with our order but we put it down to the kitchen, the food was great, had eggs benedict and pancakes tasted fantastic.

Update. Happy to hear that the owners apologized to John Hudson over the service dog issue. They have been educated about Service dogs. Thank you.

This place is my top diner to go to. The service here is friendly, the food here is pretty good, the prices are the same as their competition. twice I did have a problem here though. 1 time they messed up my order when I ordered food to go, I got home and realized it and had to go back. Another time they completely under cooked my burger. But I’ve gone to this place a lot, and aside from those 2 times, this place has been pretty good. The food here is good, not great.

Overpriced a bit but I don’t mind paying since I know whatever we order will be good. The salads are also really good, and very filling. Not too bad at Italian dishes either, surprisingly. Can always find something on the menu for everyone. From American to Greek to Italian.

Prettttyyy crappy diner. Food sucked. Greasy and low quality. I hate when I ask for milk for my coffee and all they give you are those little pea pods of milk which of course are filled with chemicals. Service was friendly I will say. Love the Managers look. Bald on top, long hair in the back. Yikes.

This diner is quite a jem in Staten Island. It is really yummy, and affordable. I came for the first time last weekend and my food was delightful the pancakes were really good. The omlettes were really big and mind you the portions are large which is classic diner meal. I would go back to try more of the menu. The menu had a lot of good comfort foods which I throughly enjoy. My friends recommended the place and it was worth it.

Been here more than a handful of times and it’s never been that good. Took my dad there one night for a quick bite. We each ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and an order of cheese fries to share. We sat there for at least a half hour. 2 people came in at that time and placed their order. 10 minutes later their cheeseburger platters came out. We were STILLWAITING for 2 grilled cheese sandwiched and 1 cheese fries… WHAT??? Now we’re waiting almost an HOUR for grilled cheese sandwiches and fries!!! When I asked the waitress if she forgot about our food she said it was taking as long as it was because I ordered cheese fries!!! And she said it with a serious face!!! Needless to say the food SUCKED!!! Was NOT the first time. But it was definitely the last time I stepped into that diner!!! How do you screw up grilled cheese and cheese fries you ask??? I don’t know. But if you want to know, this is the place to find out!!! LOL

I haven’t had a good experience here. I tried the Greek panini and it oddly had pesto on it instead of spinach. Another time I tried a chicken caesar wrap and the chicken had a weird taste. The waitresses I had both times weren’t attentive or friendly. I’ll stick to the diners by me. Plus the parking situation sucks because there are so many other businesses in that same strip.

Have been here a few random times over the years and never had a particularly«wowing» experience, but on my latest visit, I was more purposeful in my assessment so I could use it for my review. There’s really nothing about this place that makes me eager to come back. Waitress was not very attentive. Had to request almost everything more than once– water, honey mustard, pickles/coleslaw. The service, though a little slow and sparse, was pleasant enough overall. I would have preferred to see a little more gusto and«oomph», but what can you do. The pea soup was pretty good– mild in flavor and though it did not have any actual ham pieces in it, there was a bit of a ham flavor present. I would have liked a few croutons but it’s not worth complaining about. The coleslaw also had a nice taste, but wasn’t one that is «typical» of coleslaw– it actually tasted as if they had put tropical fruit juice in it. Interesting and unexpected. I kind of liked it, but I can imagine this being a point of contention for other diners who don’t want coleslaw that tastes like fruit. I ordered the turkey burger which was pretty much atrocious. I would bet money that it was a mass-produced frozen patty of who-knows-what that they heated up for me. It really did not taste that great and had a horrid consistency. One of my dining partners had a BLT with provolone cheese, which was much better than my turkey burger but… the bacon tasted like charcoal-y toasted marshmallows. Very weird. Between that and the fruity coleslaw, I had to wonder if there was something wrong with my taste-buds that day!

Fantastic diner. Breakfast was huge, generous amount of bacon on top of a pile of eggs. The pork roll(Taylor Ham) with egg on rye was excellent. Note to those not from New York — people from there tend to be overcritical of just about everything. So 3 stars from them equals 5 stars everywhere else.

We have been here a couple time in the past few years. I would give 4 sometimes, but for this particular experience, it only deserve 3. This is one of the dinner we usually go for breakfast. The coffee is strong and we both like it. The complimentary corn muffins is a plus. We had pancakes and bacon, and corn beef with eggs this time. The food is average, not bad, but not great. One good thing is they always have big portion.
