Staten Eye Land

Jesse and Alan are great! My family and I have been going there for years. Only recently did i encounter an issue with a new prescription. Both of them were more than helpful in quickly correcting the situation. We all know that issues can arise from time to time. It is refreshing to know that they take pride in their work and are truly there to help.

I have been a customer of Staten Eye Land for 20+ years. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They are great with kids. We go in for adjustments all the time and there is never a charge. If we had to replace frames or a lens, we only paid for shipping. They take their time with you and provide assistance in choosing which glasses will be best. This is especially useful with babies and young children. I highly recommend Staten Eye Land.

First of all, doesn’t this name just make you wanna be a Staten Eye-​Land patron? I just like answering people when they ask me where I got my glasses. «Staten Eye-​Land. Get it… Eye Land.» It takes them a minute, but they inevitably crack a smile.
So Allen at Staten Eye-​Land has picked out and sized my frames since 1986. Seriously. He is really attentive and seems to greatly enjoy personalizing your specs to help you express your inner diva… yes, he tends to be ostentatious, but again, this is Staten Island. There are many choices at the store (funky, high end/​brand name, conservative) and Allen will immediately size up the shape of your face and cull different brands and styles of frames from around the store to show you what will look best. Allen’s always up on the new trends and styles and takes pride in buying fresh frames. This attention to stock plus individual service makes me feel like I’m always in good hands.
The place is clean and the window displays are so adorable. They really put a lot of time into the themes and everything’s always impeccable. Though things are definitely not cheap, I will remain one of Allen’s faithful customers.
