Straight Line Collision

These people fixed my moms Sienna like brand new so I decided to take my car there. Everything here is so quick and smooth. Totally recommend and everyone is nice. another good shop on the island.

Had body work done here after hitting a deer. They replaced/​repaired my front bumper, one headlight, washer fluid reservoir and one fender. After about 2 years the front bumper started getting a lot of little rock chips (much more in those 2 years than the 5 years I had the car before the body work) but I never did anything about it. Finally after 3 years it looked like swiss cheese with thousands of little spots all over so I brought it back to see if they would respray it or at least give me a good discount. I was told they would do neither and that «I may have driven behind a dump truck or something.» I pointed out that the chips were only on the bumper and that the hood (which was not re-​painted) had almost no chips. They didn’t care and just kept repeating the same thing.
Any reputable body shop stands behind their work, they don’t make excuses as to how it MIGHT not be their fault

The people were professional and the process couldn’t have been any easier. I was in a rented car within an hour. My car looks great!!! I would definitely recommend this place even though I hope to not have to go back.

Not only is there shop beautiful, their staff is polite and courteous they sometimes will do little things for free which keeps me loyal to this shop. Their work is quick and top quality. I will always make referrals and bring my own cars here.

I appreciate them my Mercedes was hit by a big truck in rear. First body shop looked like it did good work. Until it rained wow all the water started poring in my trunk with my battery and fuses and vacuum pump. 3 months of this problem they tried fixing (what ever). So I went to STRAIGHT LINE I had a new trunk installed bumper removed and boarder of trunk was redone. They did good work.

Went here because of Geico Express service due to my car being slightly side swiped. Luckily the damage wasn’t as bad as I thought and the owner/​manager Paul was nice. They just buffed and waxed were the scrapes were and it looked fine. And wasn’t charged. So if ever need anything done to my car again, I’d go back.

Certified GEICO center and «heard» that they were good from a source. Dropped off my car Tuesday 8am and said it should be done by end of the week latest early next week. It was a paint job with no body damage or electrical issue. Called end of the week and said it wasn’t going to be ready till next Wednesday. I said, fine. Called the following Tuesday to confirm pick up next day and said won’t be done till Friday. Now I’m frustrated. Kept my composure and called up Friday. Said not till Monday. OMG! Called Monday and finally done. Picked it up and interior was dusty and filthy from body shop. Ruined my center woodgrain a bit. May have to clay it to get the dirt off. On top of that, the paintjob was mediocre. Saw areas where it needed more paint or clearcoat and rough edges. Would not recommend.

Straight line Auto Collision has many ups but the downs can out way the positives. I brought my car back in August 2011 for rear quarter panel to be replaced. The workmanship (body work) was excellent looks as new as it did when I drove it out the showcase. The paint was flush, seems blended perfectly, and everything looked good to go, until I noticed the rear window crystal PVC corking was improperly installed and over used. Later, to find out that straight line outsources window repairs and currently are using Crystal window repair located on hyland blvd.
Now that everyone’s caught up. I have returned to straight line to have the window fixed and after numerous calls beginning on Tuesday and it’s now Thursday w/​o my pride and joy. One of the owners finally contacted me to inform me of the issues w/​the glass repairer and tint specialist. To make things right I have been offered a rental although it’s not my car and it’s still waiting a window at least the owner gave a shot at satisfying the customer. The reason saving them from a worse customer rating. Although things happen and problems can not be foreseen. A plan B should always be ready so if future issues like this arise. A solution can be made in a timelier fashion.
