the service is great here. not many things to say about the restaurant itself, but the employees here are the best: super attentive and courteous. the place is always clean.

Long story, why do I stop at Subway in Bayonne when there is so much better???. I get on line and there is a woman buying 4 subs, Ok, I will just be patient I say to my self.. Well she just flustered both the sandwich maker and cash register person, with changes to her order and then almost rejecting the meatball sandwiches, when she was told they may have pork added to the meat. Argg. Well at one point they did start making my sandwich, but left it to the side when trying to satisfy woman previously mentioned. They had also started making sandwiches for two customers behind me, which then were completed before mine, thus I left the restaurant after all of them. The sandwich is Ok, but again there is so much better here in Bayonne.

Man, can the guy behind the counter have more of an attitude… djeeeez! I used to go there when in a rush, you know, you grab somewhat of a healthy sammich and it’s quick… But the microwaved meats, the stale bread, the dry cheese and the crusty tuna salad is enough for me. Only the veggies are decent, so I’d rather eat a piece of turf outside, at least it’s free. Now, you have nothing in there either, on a foot long 2CRUMMYPIECESOFCHEESE? What is this, Canada? Quiznos has much better subs, it might be a couple extra bucks, but well worth it.

FRANCHISEDFASTFOOD in St. George! OMG! * its a clean place– 2 blocks from the ferry — walk east * calorie counts on all the subs??? how cool — pick your poison I am NOT a fast food — person by ANY stretch of the imagination… but I got out of Shakti Yoga class that was so intense it was like an hour of fabulous sex… well maybe not that great… but I was hungry and its right there. i had the sweet onion chicken teriyaki 6 incher… wtih tons of veggies and a wonderful warm toasted loaf. I was impressed and I am happy to see REAL normal America in the neighborhood. I mean I love local flava like any new yorker but DAMN!!! a Subway… you would have to live in st george — the most underdeveloped NYC water front property in existence to understand that I am happy!!!
