No complaints here. They’re always well stocked, the cashiers run at a good pace, and the hours are convenient for nearly anyone.

Those self check out machines don’t work well. The traditional checkouts are mostly closed

I will drive 30 mins to get away from this location if i need anything from Home Depot.
Laziest workers i have ever encounter!
I was at the spray paint section waiting to ask them to unlock the gate they have on it.
3 people working on the station, 2 was busy talking to each other, one was on a personal phone call, yelling at their bf/​husband… Finally one of them decide to speak to me, I asked if there were any spray paint that is good for plastic chairs. One guy just flat out said «NO» to me. When i clearly saw spray paint for plastic cans behind the locked cage. They just didn’t want to help, nor did they really care.

The customer service here sucks! They clearly dont know how to be professional or how to handle a return. The lady that works there sunday night should be more polite. Definitely wont be shopping there anymore! Went to forest ave home depot they were excelent!

The laziest bums work here. Anytime you ask for help you get the same response «we dont have it.» They wont even help you look for an item. My husband tested this theory and asked for a specific item he saw on the floor and right away, we dont have it. Lazy ass people. Home depot needs to clear this store and hire new people.

Poor poor poor customer service!!! Avoid this store!!! Came in to check the spay paints for the outdoor furniture, they told me they have nothing for it!!! Really?!

I came for a specific lamp that I had seen at the Chelsea Home Depot, but figured this location would be more convenient to where I was going. They didn’t have the lamp (I mean this is certainly much bigger than the Chelsea store) and the store employees couldn’t have been less interested in helping me.

This is my local Home Depot, it’s good if you need basic items. It’s kinda hard to find help in here, I think the south ave location has a bigger selection but just outta the way. Then they stopped giving you the 5 percent discount if you use your HD credit card, unless you show them your lowes card, which I find it kinda odd.

I have no choice but to come to this «home depot» because the other closest one to me is miles away. It’s not so bad to shop, it’s just trying to get help from workers is like pulling teeth it’s such a hassle. Overall I enjoy shopping here I get what I need an go an I was enjoying the 5% discount when using your Home Depot credit card but now they changed the policy to LOWE’S CUSTOMERS ONLY who are entitled to the 5% discount. WHAT!!! THAT MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE I WAS FURIOUS I FELT LIKE ME BEING A 6 year loyal customer to Home Depot Credit card made no purpose when you take our discount away an award it to another company card. Such Betrayal, maybe I should just go spend my money in LOWE’S an maybe they will appreciate a loyal customer unlike Home Depot. 5% isn’t much it’s just the principle behind it.

absolutely the worst home center experience I have ever had, I received an email alert that something was on sale today. I called the store and they picked up asked to have someone check to make sure the item was there in the store. the person came back and said they had 13 in the store. I then went online to double check and sure enough the store inventory said they had 13 in stock.
I went to the garden department and asked to see them and was told they did not have them because he had never seen the item. another person took me to the help desk (bad name for it) and they said I don’t know it has an inactive number so we don’t have it, it must be a mistake.
I asked to have someone look for the item in question and all three people there looked in different directions and and one started to call the other staten island store? when i asked why she said «to see if they have it» then I said they had it in this store and I did not want to go to the other store, again I said can someone go look for it and again more looking into space.
I walked away from the confused looks and went to look for it myself and after 10 minutes found the item on top of a shelf in the department that said they didn’t have it.
There is no training that can help this kind of useless incompetence. If I could I would give them no stars but it doesn’t let you do that

Don’t come here unless you want a headache! This home depot is the worst I have ever been too!

Why does this store even exist? They barely have any stock on what you actually need, and constantly send you to the main Home Depot on Forest Avenue. This is a pointless structure.

This place is a zoo. If you can avoid going here, and taking an extra couple miles into consideration for the Home Depot on Forest Ave., you’d be doing yourself a favor.
Waited on Electrical help for nearly 30 minutes. Got stories from management such as not knowing who’s on shift, people being out of the building, and out of touch with their shift supervisors. Overall, terrible experience. Will never give my business to this branch again.

A bit messy, employees don’t want to help if you got a question. Nursery– not taken care of. Just a mess. If u know what u need u go get it and leave. The one on forest ave is so much better

Out of 3 large hardware chain stores on the Island, this small store always been the best. I always find what I need, parking lot is huge, and checkout is a breeze.

If I could give –5, I would. They messed with the wrong Cloe. Here is what they did wrong, they sold half of a lock instead of full of a lock and we needed a full lock to fix a door. I do not recommend this store.

Oh Home Depot, how I love you. I must, for I have given you all of my life savings. Your prices are better than any other hardware store, and therefore I must shop at you.
If only you loved me back, and showed me appreciation for my dedication and $$$. A rewards program would be nice.

I came here many times to order a replacement glass for a storm door. First, few times representative was not available, and I was asked to come back another time. One time representative was there but was busy with a big clients and would be able to help me in an hour or more. When I finally spoke to him after coming for about fifth time, I was told that I would have to call factory myself, get part number and the price, only then they could process my order. It was after 5pm, so the factory was closed. I called factory following day, got needed info, came back to the store to find out that rep. is not available again, however a nice manager of some kind, took all info, my phone number, and said that he’d have rep process my order and he would call me once its done. Do you think I got that call? Think again. I would never go to Homedepot again. Unfortunately, Lowes does not deal with Anderson, so I have no choice. Its been over 6 months, I still dont have that glass that I needed, but Id rather be without it than go back to Homedepot and deal with this again.

my roommate (actually, my landlord) & i have been here at least 10 times (during the fall, winter, spring todate), as i would help him purchase & load stuff and supplies for the ongoing renovation works he’s making in the groundfloor of the house where we stay now. not bad having this close to where we live, thus providing us some sort of conveniences — you need your own transport to get here (am not sure if it’s actually close to public transpo). all around this huge warehouse of a store are housing buildings that some describe as the «projects.» and there are many pretty single-​family houses you’d see close to this store.
service is not bad, actually. i’d always love to have a huge, spacious «Home Depot» store that’s close to where i live — -it’s the convenience, really. you got to know what you want to buy if ever you find yourself here — my roommate knows all the stuff he needs from this store as he’s done such works for many years now.
at the background, you’d see the hilly parts of Staten Island, that thankfully still looks green, w/​trees and foliage. the whole place looks great to find yourself in towards sunset on a weekend, or during weekdays when everyone’s in school. it’s pretty very, very residential. i won’t say it’s dangerous, as i’ve yet to find myself in such situations while here. and i have to give people here the benefit of the doubt…

A dump. Bad part of town. Store is always in disarray. Rude employees. The rent a security convict will want to check your bags and search you on the way out. Dangerous part of town after hours. The store is a complete wreck and usually doesn’t have things where they should be stocked.
