Seriously no one has reveiwed this gem yet? A tremendous resource and public space in Statesboro, not only for theater shows. The space lends itself to many uses, starting with the large foyer and entry hall, along with conference rooms and learning centers. The center hosts many events throughout the year, including my daughter’s ballet recitals! The annual Christmas tree festival is a favorite. I have yet to sit in the balcony; I always try to sit in the first few rows to get a good view of my girls dancing. One thing I will say is the rows, at least for a big guy like myself, can be a bit tight, and the seats a bit uncomfortable with minimal padding. Maybe at some point they’ll change those out one summer. Were it not for that they’d get five stars from me! Note to Unilocal!: not sure how this place is classified, but it’s not a bar/restaurant. I say that because a Performing Arts Center would not typicaly have a happy hour, a tip question I was asked.
