Best pizza EVER!!! The pizza was stuffed and amazing! We also had the Mediterranean salad and cinnamon dessert pizza both were very good. All the staff were friendly and the place super clean! The only negative thing about this place is there isn’t one where I live in Atlanta. When I visit statesboro again I will be stopping by for another great pizza.

We went all out got the Chicago style stuffed(10 stars seriously), cheesy break N s’mores pizza! We got the large and all this food fed 5 hungry college kids and we had leftovers!

Man, oh man, is this place amazing! It just opened up a few days ago and has not disappointed. If you’re unfamiliar with the concept, Papa Murphy’s is a take n’ bake pizza joint. You go into the store and order a pizza to your specifications and go home and bake it yourself. There is one glorious advantage to this type of pizza service: the prices and the food are BOTH incredible. First off, this place has HANDSDOWN the only legitimate pan pizza in Statesboro. I mean, ATALL. I have lived in this town for 22 years, tried every pizza joint there is here, and the pan pizza at Papa Murphy’s is as legit as it gets. I say this after spending the last six months in St. Louis for grad school, which has the closest Chicago-style deep dish outside of Chicago itself. While Papa’s doesn’t quite stack up to the best of best that I’ve had up north, it is pretty darn good in its own right. Other places in the Boro will charge you $ 2-$ 4 more for a «deep dish pizza» that’s only centimeters thicker than the regular, at best. After baking our Papa Murphy’s pizza, however, it must have been between 1.5 and 2 inches thick! It TOWERED over the thin crust cheese pizza we got for my mom. Now, I could easily put away 3 – 4 slices of regular pizza, and have(shamefully!) even eaten almost a whole little caesar’s in one sitting, but I tell you I couldn’t eat more than 2 slices of Papa Murphy’s pan pizza. It’s so thick and fluffy! It was astounding how much this pizza grew in thickness, and it was already very thick when we picked it up. Highly recommended if you want a different, more interactive pizza experience, or if you want a taste of what real pan pizza is like. This place has incredible food, and only $ 7-$ 12 for most build your own pizzas(with a reasonable number of toppings), it’s also an incredible value! Try it. You won’t be disappointed.
