I finally wore down that lil Mexican firecracker and took her on a date to Village Inn Pizza. It was exactly how i pictured it. Pizza tasted like straight out of the Walmart freezer aisle, tender crust, spicy sauce, nam nam good. Juanita ran to the trays and got some of that good ol pizzghetti. It tasted some like my cousin brother used to make when we got out the army. Straight up Heinz and a can of tomato sauce over noodles. My baby got some of that and we did a lady and the tramp scene. Juanita was going hog wild, and no one even stopped her after 5 plates. No one stopped me either but they kept taking plates away. I wasn’t done. It was so good I wanted to lick the plate clean. Why take the plates away? Did you want me to go home? There was a whole row of rabbit food next to the pizza. What a burden to get to the pizza. brother let me tell ya, they is generous with portions in these parts. But i guess that’s cuz it’s a buffet. It cost me around 40 bucks, it’s expensive impressing a girl these days. I don’t care for the screaming children. I got a bad knee from college football, should have been pro. I didn’t like walking up to the buffet, I’d much rather they carry the trays to me. There was a beautiful girl there, but I was on a date so i will have to come back to snake that on my own.

Not only do they humiliate their employees in front of customers, they have a sanitation rating of 86… if I could give this establishment zero stars that would still be too high.

Salad bar is great and the pizza is good. You have to know going to not expect gourmet pizza, but it is good. Good to go when you need something quick to eat.

Another quick lunch and unlike the last visit, the line was not out of the building but part of that I think was because I caught the creast of the tsumani and got there just before the creat hit. Salad bar was excellent. They kept up with the pizza buffet but I will amit, the offerings were less than stellar. Cheap and for today, efficent but the jusy is still out

We went early and still no hot pizza on the bar. It’s like a feeding trough here. Salad bar is good… if you wanna pay $ 8 for a salad bar.

Well… to start with, the pizza is ok, not horrible. Considering this is a newly-built location to replace the original one I suppose my expectations were a bit higher. Other than appearing much larger on the outside and seeming only slightly larger on the inside, the buffet layout is exactly the same as it was. In my humble opinion, if you’re going to build a completely new facility then why not take the time and improve what you had previously? I am certainly one to encourage folks to eat local whenever they can, and my family and I will of course continue to visit Village Inn from time-to-time.

Ok the village inn previously: 1st and last time we had gone out of convenience off I77.gross. buffet style«pizza» filthy mildew smell and a mouse. Yep. I grabbed my kids and ran out. Fast forward to new location, went again out of convenience. Cost approximately $ 70(3 kids and 4 adults) for a pizza salad style buffet. Walked around for a clean table for a few minutes and I flagged down a bus boy to clean one of the dirty yet empty tables. No mice. Food is still gross. Bagged lettuce, canned soups and I guess if you put cheese and a tomato sauce on a crust some people call that pizza?
