We visited from Los Angeles and loved the food, staff and store. The photo of empty plate was haddock with baked sweet potato and cheese grits. The pancakes were also fluffy. And we entertained ourselves with the peg game. Recommend and will visit again.

I’m a bigger fan of Cracker Barrel than I care to admit, mostly from nostalgia. That said, this one was way, way off. Our server was totally inattentive, leaving drinks unfilled and bringing portions of the meal out without care for when anyone else was getting their food. The server forgot things, which we ended up not wanting by the time they came out. I feel crap leaving such a low review, but surely there’s a local joint doing this same food better.

Food was great, so was the service. I didn’t experience the bad food the other folks who gave a bad rating. What I did see is rude, uppity, prick customers. That’s saying something due to the fact I live in New York! Customers need to treat servers/waitresses with respect. Maybe you’ll get better food. To the waitress who waited on the family seated in front of me, I’m sorry. They were completely out of line. I had the same waitress as they did and made sure to tip more than normal.

Scrambled eggs were overdone. Grits were overcooked. Bacon undercooked. Pineapple and blueberries were the only thing that was good.

Its been years since I’ve been to Cracker Barrel… on our road trip, we left the hotel early and we were hungry… stopped in and thankfully we got there right before the rush, when we left folks were waiting to get tables. I went with = The Cracker Barrel Country Boy Breakfast® Country Ham, Three Eggs, Fried Apples, Hashbrown Casserole, Grits, Sawmill Gravy and Homemade Buttermilk Biscuits.(I copied from their menu). I also got a side of bacon with it. Overall, not bad… the ham was very salty though… the grits were okay… the sawmill gravy needs little bit of work. The coffee was okay. The service was decent, coffee got refilled, water was refilled when asked… I understood, our waitress was working several of the tables, so no problem… we got our food on time, we left full and that’s all that mattered. One thing I was not a fan of, their store by the main entrance… the aisles are so small and narrow, its hard to navigate, especially when it’s busy!

Service was great, but the cook does not know how to cook an egg. Fried, fried and re– fried, very well done does not mean raw.

Do not punish yourself. I was served a piece of rubber instead of chicken Fried steak and all the sides must have come cans or powder. Stay away!

Food is the normal Cracker Barrel quality but needs to work on service. Waitress was trying to do her best but she was having a bad night. Ever time someone went back to the kitchen it was like black hole. Plus no one attempted to clear any plates. 3 empty tables full of dirty and floor was littered with bits of trash. Manager did help waitress by taking order but did not seem to help after that. Keep trying guys. Breakfast service is always great.

If there’s one thing you can always count on at Cracker Barrel it’s friendly, heartwarming service and this location follows that model well. Our service was wonderful and the breakfast was edible and average. I still think the Wild Maine blueberry pancake is the best thing on the breakfast menu(we won’t eat any other meal here). If you drive through town(this is a major confluence of interstates) during breakfast time, it’s a solid choice for an affordable meal whether solo, with the family or with friends. Easy on/off from the interstate. Otherwise, it’s a Cracker Barrel, we all know what to expect.

This review is for the take out service only. We were traveling and hungry so we went to CB. We ended up arriving during a rush hour so we decided to place an order to go but the way they do their takeout orders drastically needs improvement. As per their standard procedure, they called for an available server to take our order, who needless to say were all very busy. They then had us wait right next to the hostess podium where the hostess was trying to get people seated while other customers were trying to exit which literally put us «in the way» causing us to feel claustrophobic as we stood there for several minutes and there still wasn’t any available server who could take the time to take our order. This is not the servers fault as they were very busy! This is just a flaw in their take-out order system. I finally had to ask for a manager and have them go ahead and place the order. After that was done it didn’t take any time at all for us to receive the food to go. As always, the food was perfect and yummy.

The first sit down restaurant with fast food atmosphere. We sat and got the drinks in less than 5 minutes. The service staffs were nice and polite. After we’ve got our dinner ordered and got the food within 15 minutes. At the same time, We also received the check with our meal. The time was 2:45 pm so not many people to attend. This gave me an impression, i should leave as soon as I finish eating. I rather spent $$ on the sonic instead next time

Bland, mediocre food. Nothing tasted good — cornbread muffins were terrible; grilled chicken salad was made with iceberg lettuce; ‘house’ pepper vinaigrette dressing had no flavor. Service was good, but didn’t make up for the disappointing meal. Will not eat at another Cracker Barrel again.

I guess I am going to have to stop eating at Cracker Barrels, at least for breakfast! One would think that they should know how how to cook eggs and bacon! I always order mine medium. Eggs are over easy, runny whites, and bacon is always crisp!

Great service and great food. I really can’t complain. Although the country gravy seemed a bit bland

Can’t go on a road trip without hitting a CB a long the way. This one is nice. Sits on top of a large hill overlooking the valley below it. Nice place to stop, grab a bite, and a clean restroom when you are on a roadie.
