Service was great. Very kind. There only mistake was not to notice that we did not like our food. The salad dressing they claimed was homemade I don’t believe it was. If it was they must be good friends with Kraft and they were given the Kraft recipes. The pizza was okay, but I have had better from chains. The ravioli was bad, it Clearly came out of a frozen box. My son who absolutely loves ravioli switched to eating the pizza. My wife and I tried it and could not eat it. If the sauce was homemade I would be extremely surprised. The eggplant parmigiana was okay. The eggplant itself was fine although we are pretty sure it was also frozen/manufactured. Similar to ravioli the sauce was awful. The only thing that was really very good was the bread.

This place just has awful lasagna… Ordered it about six months ago an it was terrible! !! Cold, full of water and just know flavor. Well a few days ago I decided to try it again I thought well maybe it was just a bad night that time. We’ll I was wrong again!!! It was worse this time I will never go back to this place again! !

We found this little golden nugget while passing through town. The service was great and the Sicilian pasta was excellent. Plan on stopping in for a taste if you are in the area.

We loved everything about the pizza! The dough was freshly made, the sauce was fabulous and the meat toppings were delicious.

On our way home from TX visiting family for the holidays. I found this restaurant on Unilocal.Ordered baked ravioli as our appetizer. They were delicious. I ordered caprese panini. Was absolutely amazing. They make their own panini bread. My husband had 10″ pizza and the dough was out of this world. Definitely will make this a favorite for our next trip.

Well, I guess looking at the other reviews I have to agree overall. It is kind of Hit and Miss. We went with four older ladies, one gluten intolerant. I’m diabetic. The salads were just basic iceberg lettuce fair. Some dressings are homemade and the blue cheese didn’t disappoint. I had chicken and broccoli which SHOULD have had the salad included(even if the price had been a bit higher) because it was an extremely bland dinner. Beautifully cooked, lots of fresh broccoli, but just the two items? Meh. I ended up adding the salad. But one real reason I added the salad was because my dinner came when two of the others got salads. So I had finished it, even though I am slow eater, by the time the others got their dinners. That was awkward! One lady wouldn’t touch her salad and normally does. She didn’t say why. One was disappointed that her panini was almost all bread and very little filling. The gluten free ziti was excellent, with lots of cheese. And the ravioli dish seemed to have been the best. The gluten free got cheesecake and ate just the top part. She was disappointed. It had obviously been frozen and even the strawberry topping wasn’t fresh. Bummer. The other three of us split a chocolate cupcake and it was super. Best part of the meal! It was very moist and had lots of whipped cream and was beautiful to look at. I appreciate that they help out the local schools with fundraisers. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful. I think if I go again, I’ll try the recommendation from someone else(Scott C below) on the chicken wings.

We have always enjoyed the gluten free options at Maria’s, but today the horrible service overshadowed our visit. Our waiter and another waitress were leaning over our booth, talking to the kids behind me. The topics ranged from drunken endeavors to other inappropriate topics. Mind you I had a young boy with me. During our above average wait, another male waiter came over and tried to strike a grotesque conversation about his broken collarbone, as my arm was in a sling. I’m sad to see this lack of service at such a good restaurant.

Absolutely fantastic! The chicken wings were delicious, the garlic knots were wonderful, and the pizza was nearly perfect! We were just staying the night in Stanton, and we stumbled upon this place — we made the right decision!

Maria’s has good pizza and good service. Not the best, but certainly not the worst. They have a ton of stuff on their menu besides pizza, and from what I’ve had, it’s been good.

I’m one of the locals. I guess my taste buds aren’t as spoiled as the previous two reviewers because I think this place makes the best pizza in the valley. The service has always been great. The wait staff is always friendly and attentive. I plan on coming again and again.

Maria’s was underwhelming to the maximum. It was recommended by some locals, so we had high hopes for some classic Italian American fare, but it was just mediocre all around, except for the service. The mozzarella half-moon appetizers were tasty(but I doubt they are made in house). The side salads with dinner were your standard iceberg lettuce, flavorless supermarket tomato, and giant cup of dressing situation. My chicken fettucini alfredo was creamy, yes, but flavorful, no. And the white chunks of chicken looked and tasted like cafeteria food. I had to add a LOT of parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes. My BF’s chicken parmesan was similarly mediocre. The chicken itself was pretty decent, good breading, but the sauce was watery and overly sweet– and sauce is crucial, my friends. The tiramisu dessert was tasty, but again, I doubt if it was made in-house. I will say that our server was very friendly and attentive– she was the best part of the experience.

Maria’s has one of the best pizza’s in town. I love the crust, it is nice and chewy and the sauce is not to sweet. They always give you plenty of toppings and it is always fresh. I get a pizza from here almost once a week and never had a bad one. The calazones and stromboli are full of ingredients, they are not stingy here. They could easily feed two people. Salads are nice and crisp, the chef salad is enough for two. They also have a great cheese steak sub. For the money you can’t beat this place if you are in the mood for pizza or a sandwich. I haven’t tried some of the entrees but as many time I have eaten there I would bet they are good too. The place is very clean and the servers are alway friendy.
