Thornrose House At Gypsy Hill B&B

We came to Stauton to just get away for our anniversary. We could not have found a better place to stay. It was very comfortable with all the amenities you could ask for: hair dryer, umbrellas, recommendations and more! It is right across the street from a huge park which was wonderful for a quick stroll, some tennis, or even an outdoor concert. Plus the food was awesome and more than plentiful. The hosts made it even better. The only thing we didn’t like was how short our visit was.

Thornrose House B&B is beautiful and decorated so lovely. Innkeepers Janice and John have lived overseas and brought home some beautiful pieces that are perfect for a B&B. The room was very pretty and cozy. Our bathroom had a clawfoot tub with a shower attachment, which worked fine for our short hair. The sheets on the bed were SOOOO soft! Sunday breakfast was delicious with a nice variety of homemade zucchini bread, egg strata, and sausage. Also freshly blended juice and French-​pressed coffee. Janice and John are very friendly, happy to share their adventures while learning more about their guests as well. The grounds were beautiful, with the vegetable and herb gardens. Such a lovely place. Should I return to Staunton some day, I know where I’m staying. Oh, did I mention their prices are VERY affordable? :o)
