I come through Santiam pass fairly often and this place is always on my radar, but always after the fact. I see the sign, I see the location, I’m thinking to myself«I should stop there» — never happens. Today it happened! Great little stop if you are heading into Central Oregon, or heading out and could use a little pick me up. Extensive beverage menu — expresso drinks, chai, smoothies, shakes, etc. Lots and lots of flavors and add ons. Plus a nice little menu for lunch like items. We stopped on our trip back from the coast because we NEEDED lunch and the next option was hours away. Didn’t know what to expect, read the Unilocal reviews and knew that hot dogs were on the menu which is great for me, but a little more would be great for the rest of my crew. Kids ended up with bagels and cream cheese(perfect), plus kielbasas for myself and my man. Nice selection of toppings, kraut, jalapeños, peppercinis, mustard, mayo, etc. They were cooked to order, grilled to order I should say. Disclaimer on the menu that these aren’t «roller» dogs. Great. Strawberry lemonade blended for my youngest, banana shake, berry slake and chocolate malt for the remainder of us. Nicest of ladies working the counter. Very nice and patient(it always takes so much longer with kids). Only outdoor seating(fine, the weather was perfect), restroom available for customers. Plenty of parking, including room for RV’s. Nothing fancy, but darn good. Worth a stop if you are traveling through.

Stopped for a treat after hiking some of the area county park trails. Service was great and the shakes thick and tasty. We’ll certainly stop again.

This place is a gem! We had a chocolate malt and a peach shake, both were outstanding. The hot dog and polish sausage were really great too. A full selection of coffee drinks and creative ice cream drinks. This find was the highlight of my trip.

What a neat place. We needed a cool off during the heat wave and decided to give it a shot. Smoothies and frappachinos were necessary and on the menu. Not sure if it was the 100 degree weather or what but the drinks were delicious. My wife had a blackberry mocha frap which was incredible and my peach chiller was made with local fruit. Perfect spot to stop on a drive in to or out of Salem. They also have some sandwich and hot dog choices, along with bagels and muffins. Hit this spot when you need a little something.
