Advanced Auto Body

Tim at Advanced Auto resored my faith in humanity. I had a large gash in my front passenger tire from a wicked curb check avoiding a jay walking pedestrian. I searched everywhere in Steamboat for a tire shop open on a Sunday, which doesn’t exist fyi. My jack is less than stellar. The last time I used it, it failed and collapsed on me. (Note to self… buy a new jack!) I pulled into a tire shop near advanced auto body to find an emergency number. I saw a door in the back open and thought it was worth a shot. The man inside was Tim. He happened to be there on his day off, pure luck. He looked at my tire and then at my two young kids in the back seat and said it wasn’t safe to drive on. He stopped what he was doing, brought out a floor jack and impact wrench, changed it and balanced all the tires. He wouldn’t accept payment. He told me to drive safe and that it was no trouble. I realize changing a tire for a auto body specialist is not a big deal, but it meant the world to us. If you live in, nearby or are visiting Steamboat and run into auro problems I HIGHLY recommend Advanced Auto Body. Thank you Tim O’Brien for giving my family a safe ride home.
