We had Patrick as our guide and he was incredible. He is a great teacher and helped make us comfortable trusting him and the climbing gear before we started climbing. He picked us up from our hotel and was right on time. In addition to providing the climbing gear, he also provided bottled water for us as well as backpacks so ours wouldn’t get dirty. Also, Patrick is a talented climbing photographer and took wonderful pictures of us in action. Overall, I would recommend going rock climbing and using this company to anyone coming to Steamboat in the summertime.

Excellent time with Patrick climbing in June 2014. My colleague and I took a break from a conference to go out on a half day trip and were very pleased – great location with awesome views, 5 or 6 completely different climbs, and an awesome time with Patrick. Highly recommend Rocky Mountain Ventures!

This is the second time I’ve been ice climbing, and this company was amazing! They were extremely flexible in providing advice, best times, direct contact, etc. The best part of everything was Patrick’s (our guide) experience and guiding! He picked us up at our hotel, provided all equipment including bringing extra clothes in case we got cold. I would highly recommend this company as they are climbing experts!
