Love”s Travel Stop

If I could give this 0 stars, I would. Prepare for a story:
I came to this stop late at night after a long weary drive from driving on a cross country trip from California to North Carolina. This was the night of 2÷07÷2016. First of all, the overnight cashier Catherine stared at me angrily. Not welcoming whatsoever. I got two Tornadoes and a bratwurst sausage for my traveling companion Jordan. Catherine glanced at me menacingly as I took one out and started nibbling on it while Jordan was getting a drink. I finished one while he was still deciding. During checkout, I told her that I had a total of three but ate one already. No issue there.
Here’s why I’m mad: Jordan and I went to the car to snack. He went back in a couple of minutes to get a bottle of water for the road and he overheard her gossiping to a coworker about «how fat he looked» and how I «tried to steal a sausage and only pay for two». When Catherine saw Jordan come back in a minute after he walked in, she finally shut her trap and said «shh». Jordan just dropped his water and left the building.
I won’t be coming here again and I will dissuade other travelers from stopping at this location. This employee really hurt my feelings.

The number of flies at the restaurant portion of this stop are absolutely disgusting. We ended up taking our food outside to get away from them constantly landing on us and our food. They were everywhere.
The restrooms are nice and clean and the staff seemed friendly. But I wouldn’t waste my time with this trucks top.

This Loves was not listed so I created one. Although, a cop behind me stated that it’s been up for about 5 years. You can buy CB’s and CB equipment and accessories here. They have a great selection and quality brand names you can trust like cobra.
It’s convenient right off the Interstate and a great place to take a rest and get caffeinated up for the rest of your trip. Yes, they have a coffee island with various items to choose from.
Their bathrooms are pretty clean too.
