Off the beaten track, Amichi’s is a cozy, comfortable place to grab drinks and dinner. Great bar, with a big craft beer selection and excellent cocktails, all made with top shelf brands. A small dinner menu with some standout selections, pasta is always a great choice. And everything is extremely reasonably priced. The staff are great and very friendly. If you’re looking for a «Cheers» kind of place, this is it.

This place has a great ambience, good food, and friendly staff. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. We rented out the place(very reasonable price) for a baby shower. It was perfect! They provided appetizers, Bloody Mary bar, mimosas, eggs, bacon, and some yummy Mac and cheese. If you are looking for a place to eat or have a special event to plan, Amici’s is your place.

The spaghetti is outstanding! Great friendly place, still figuring it out, but that makes it fun. It’s a small place, quirky, good wine selection and craft beers. If you have any issues, ask for Sherry. She’s one of the owners and is working hard to make it a great experience. Did you ever dream of opening a restaurant? She did for years – and now has made it happen. It’s not easy, but I love her spirit and love seeing this place evolve and grow. And the food is good! Great Italian beef sandwiches, pork chops, and seriously, the spaghetti – diCecco angel hair with homemade meatballs and the best marinara I’ve had anywhere – is to die for.

This place is great but never seems to be open. I actually ordered it bc of a post I saw on Facebook. Someone asked where to go in Crete for sandwiches and numerous people said amici’s so I wanted to give it a try. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and the celery in the chicken salad was actually crunchy and super fresh along with the tomato, lettuce and bun(I opted for the French roll). My dad(super Italian) was very pleased with the antipasto plate and we both liked the sausage sandwich as well. Fries were crispy and warm too. Even the side salad was a nice medley of leaves, not just some generic iceberg lettuce chunk. The Luca brasi was also delicious! Caught a look at the inside when I picked it up and it’s small but cozy. I was greeted by the bartender who was very friendly and got my food right away. Feels very homey and familiar and I’ll definitely be going back. Again, just wish the hours were more consistent

My wife and I recently tried this restaurant for the first time. It was a Friday, so the obligatory fish fry was the special for the evening. The special included a choice of an antipasto tray or tossed green salad. We went with the salad, which was unremarkable, and accompanied by a bread basket of not quite fresh bread. The fried cod consisted of small fish chunks, rolled in a spicy breading. Shoe string potatoes were served with the fish. This restaurant is the post retirement vision of two former school teachers, and their love for the place is reflected in the ambiance. The dining area may hold 30 comfortably,(think small and cozy). Although our food was adequate but unimpressive, this place shines in two areas: staff and cocktails. The staff treated us like family and worked hard to fulfill our order accurately and timely. One of the owners made a point to visit with the guests, pausing at the tables and soliciting feedback. The real attraction here is the bar. With a choice of 7 craft beers on tap as well as many bottled imports, Amicis is a beer lovers treasure. The young lady making the cocktails seemed unfazed by any esoteric request. Her contributions alone bumped this restaurant to 3 stars. This is a great place for a date night as is, but it has the potential to be so much more.

This place is a hidden jewel! Small, quaint, excellent food, delightful waitress and very friendly owners. All at a reasonable price. There is full bar with trendy lighting… very tastefully done. They serve an array of drinks, as well as,(my favorite) craft beers. I had the special… Fillet mignon, salad, green beans and a baked potato. I(regretfully) order steak out and am generally disappointed… But I will say, this steak was excellent– truly as good as it gets! Cooked perfectly and I cut it with a butter knife-better than most steak houses and all for $ 20! Fresh sautéed green beans(very well prepared) Plus… a dish of warm homemade bread pudding. Wow so good! I will definitely return… I hope people give this place a chance… I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. One more thing… Always nice to have a waitress that your happy to tip 20%!
