Just called the store. A man picked up the phone and just said «good morning»?
No name? Hm. Red flag!
I told him my issue (wrong mixture of gas/​oil messed up the carburetor).
I was quoted $ 100??? No way. Too high.

Sent my mom there with a brand new Husqvarna weed trimmer that was still under warranty. Was used once and then when we attempted to use it a second time the following weekend, it would start but not stay running. Took it to Keith’s (an authorized dealer according to Husqvarna’s website). Took them FOUR WEEKS to fix the trimmer. Charged my mother more than $ 20 on something related to the carburetor which should have been covered under warranty. Now, it’s not about the money. It was only 20 bucks. It was about the fact that it should have been covered under the warranty and Keith’s didn’t want to bother with contacting Husqvarna for the money so they collected it from my unknowing mother. Would I go back? Not a chance.

I also disagree with the first review. The small store carries an impressive selection of chainsaws, trimmers, generators, pumps, mowers, leaf blowers and more. I have purchased some high end equipment there, guided by the advice of owner Keith, and I have been very satisfied in hindsight. Keith’s knowledge of small motors and machinery is exceptional. The reviewer who complained about customer service should have gone into the store. It is no surprise she was put on hold when she called, the store is often very busy. They are very busy because they are very good at what they do. The service is friendly, smart, and prompt. I highly recommend.

I disagree completely with the previous reviewer. I had the opportunity to talk at length with the owner, Keith, who demonstrated a breadth of knowledge and experience with generators. He solidified my decision to go ahead and have his son Scott’s company, Emergency Power Solutions of Mokena, install a 20 kw GE whole house natural gas back up generator. Great job! Unlike all the generac dealers, he did not ask for a dime until the job was completed. Not one penny upfront. Also, he had the equipment in stock an had it installed within one week, rather than wait six to eight weeks for the generac. He also obtained the permit at no extra charge. I strongly recommend this family enterprise.

Looked at the website, decided to call there for a lawn mower part. I read on the website how customer service was just so important. Was on hold for over 4 minutes, was about to hang up and then somebody finally picked up, never gave a name. He then said he could not help me without a part number. What common person has a part number? REALLY!!! Will never waste my time calling this place again.
