The food was very good, especially the muffin and coffee! The consignment store needs to go, the items they had were low quality and the smell of must, dust and moth balls is not conducive to eating. It may be a better business plan to use the space for a gift shop or deli…

The Belgian waffles topped with strawberries and whipped cream were cooked to perfection! Service was excellent as well. The restaurant had an old style general store type ambiance but could use some new flooring, etc.

Very cute place, open for breakfast and lunch. Order some food and then shop for antiques in the back. If you get the Monte Cristo, ask for some syrup to dip it into. Iced coffee is quite good. We walked out with about ten used books, too.

Unique combo of consignment shop, general store, and café. It works well. Lots of homemade items on café menu and in consignment shop… knitted and crocheted items for example. Great for the town.

This is a true hidden gem — don’t miss it! Tucked into a charming old-style inn just off of 43 behind the post office in Stephentown, this place can’t be best for fresh, creative breakfast or lunch(ever crave thanksgiving in a sandwich any time of year?); a terrific snack,(the iced coffee even comes with coffee ice cubes! and the cookie or croissant fresh baked); and a unique find among the consignments, antiques, and general miscellaneous good stuff(whether you are looking for an unusual tool, a special dresser, or a pair of new wool socks and more).
