Earlier today I had taken my 5 year old sister for her first swimming class and the class itself I thought went well, but after when she wanted to do open swim I was not very happy. Originally when we had signed my sister we were told about open swim, but we were not aware of any ‘restrictions’. If I was previously made aware that my sister could not swim alone because she was not tall enough I would have come prepared. That being said as I stepped over to purchase goggles another woman walked in with her 3 children which had not started swim lessons yet. She proceeded to tell the front desk worker that she was previously told that her children could swim at open swim to test it out before their first class this coming week. Mind you one of her children were half the size of my sister and was still given a life jacket and allowed to swim. I was not very pleased and the lady helping just looked and gave us somewhat of an attitude saying ‘well do you want her to swim’ I was not pleased that a child half the size of my sister was still allowed to swim(without any experience) and the poor customer service I had gotten not only when we signed her up, but when we were asking about open swim and purchasing goggles.

Went there for a trial with my 9 month old and 4 year old. They enjoyed the 30 minute class. I found the pool room to be too hot. They have a co-Ed changing area in the back with cubbies to put your stuff in without cameras. In the front they have lockable lockers with cameras. I had a diaper bag, tote back, and car seat that didn’t fit in the lockers so I put them in multiple cubbies. When I came back to change, I found that my $ 150 fit bit that I had tucked away was stolen out of my bag. :-(Don’t leave anything unattended there are a lot of bored parents with limited waiting space and I found out the hard way — sticky fingers. There is also only one handicap size changing room the rest are smaller than a normal bathroom stall. Everyone fights over the big room. They should all be big rooms especially since it is aimed towards little ones so at least 2 people have to be in them. I would also have liked same sex changing areas with showers. The showers were out in the front area that you had to use in front of everyone waiting around.

My daughter is 10 years old and could not swim very well at all. It has been 5 weeks and my daughter can do everything and is swimming with great speed. I am beyond impressed with this place. Her teacher is Ms Kim. My daughter loves her and doesn’t ever want to stop lessons. I hope they don’t have an age limit! The staff is so friendly, they act like they are our best friends when we come in each week. They seem so happy to see us which makes for a very comfortable atmosphere. I can’t wait until my baby is old enough to take lessons on his own. I would recommend this place to everyone!!!
