Automated Benefit Services is a management company that handles health benefit claims for employers that do not buy insurance coverage from an insurance company, (self-funded).
When a company offers health insurance that is self-funded (the employer doesn’t buy a policy, they pay for the claims directly through a managing company), they have huge deductibles, huge co-pays, re-categorize claims in order to pay less benefit, and they try to deny every claim. How much for this wonderful coverage you ask? $ 17,000 a year for a family. (Try Obamacare you say? Its $ 19,000 for me. THANKS OBAMA!)
