I was out and about running errands and prepping for a road trip when I found myself at Lakeside mall. I ran in for a new pair of leggings and some new hoops (earrings)…my first stop had zero selection and I remembered Claires was on the way out, so I headed over. As I approached the store I remembered they did ear piercing. I had been wanting to re-​pierce my second holes for over two years but just hadn’t gotten around to it, so I got it done on this trip. The young woman Aya, was an absolute treat. She’s the piercing princess (costume and all) for when she’s piercing the ears of all the little girls who come in. She explained everything in great detail, on how to clean and take care of your newly bejeweled ears. Because mine was a re-​pierce, the process was amazingly simple and pain free… I can imagine Aya is a real comforting soul to the parents and little girls going through it for the first time. Good job Aya!

Has much more of a selection that the Partridge creek one. The only thing I dislike about this claires is the ear piercing. Everyone I know who has gotten it done by them got infected. I was there last week and a lady walked in with her younger daughter and was screaming at the worker that her ear was infected and instead of telling the mother sorry and to take her to the doctor she asked if she wanted to repierce it!!! Are you kidding me? The poor little girl was screaming her ear was bright red so I dropped everything I was going to buy and left it made my stomach so upset. The things people will do for sales…
