Just stayed here for a hockey tournament over the Thanksgiving weekend. The hotel was a clean & tidey, However the rooms had several things wrong with it. The pull out couch mattress was terrible, you could feel the metal bars in the frame when you laid on the paper thin mattress. The pillows were so soft your head would sink into it that you needed 17 just to sleep with. The windowsill in our bedroom was completely off. No hot water on the third day there. we asked for a rollaway bed that they delivered when we were gone and it had huge hole in the mattress for the metal springs to pop out. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone staff was very courteous very polite however the amenities or not worth the price paid no one should have to sleep on a mattress where you feel the metal bars on the frame or spring sticking out of the mattress.

Stayed here one night while on a business trip. Check in was easy. Parking was adequate. Interior lobby was nice. My room was nice also with a comfy bed and good sized bathroom. Plenty of room. Breakfast had the full selection with very good scrambled eggs as being one of the options. The gym was small with only one treadmill but nice. They have an indoor pool. I would stay here again. I think this property is slightly above average for Hampton Inns.

Pleasant and responsive staff. Clean, well-kept rooms. Pool was clean. The only negative is that their Wifi was out of order due to recent storms(2 days prior). It never did work the two nights we were there. I am not sure if that ties in with their in room phones, but they didn’t work either. Not that we needed them, we all had cell phones. Breakfast was what you would expect for a freebee. It was well stocked and had a little something for everyone. The location of this hotel was very convenient to all kinds of stores and restaurants. When I visit again, this hotel will be my pick!

I arrived late on a Friday night and was greeted by an excited young man asking me about where I live(Charleston, sc.) He wanted to know all about my town because he was interested in maybe moving there. I was excited for him and had a nice exchange about Charleston with him. I thought that was a nice touch he actually paid attention to where I was from. The hotel itself was great. We had a quiet room on the third floor overlooking a Taco Bell. Since we were there for a St Patrick’s day drink fest. The Taco Bell was appealing to us. There were a lot of young boys in the lobby for some type of tournament. I was a bit concerned about that but I didn’t hear from them at all. The breakfast was a typical Hampton breakfast. The layout was a bit odd and while there seemed to be two of everything. Not alot of people paid attention and hovered around 1 toaster. The bed was comfy and the room had a mini fridge and a microwave. The fridge was great to store our leftover pizza we ordered by recomendation of the front desk. Overall, this was a great stay. There is a Starbuck’s and Panera right in front of the hotel and a 24 hour Meijer right next door.

I had to visit Michigan on short notice for a funeral and when I checked online this hotel seemed like one of the closest ones to where I needed to be. I was suitably impressed. It’s situated back off the main street(Van Dyke Avenue) so you don’t hear the traffic noise. The lobby is clean and comfortable, The rooms are spacious and comfortable(the A/C was a little loud but that can be overlooked). All the amenities were great. The free breakfast was tasty and more than adequate. The staff was also very friendly I actually got in about 2 in the morning and someone was working the desk and had my key card waiting for me.)My wife had checked in earlier) I think this is a great place for the price and would recommend it to anyone staying in the area.
