Very rude! I started going here after my regular place lovely nails had a fire. I went and got a couple manicures no big deal. They did a nice job and was a little more expensive but no biggie. Today I decided to go back for a mani and pedi. As I am walking out the door the husband called and said he just got called into work and I needed to wait for the kids. No biggie my kids are well behaved. I had my 9 year old bring his ds and I figured I would give my 3 year old a mani and pedi too so it would keep her occupied. My son literally sat on the couch the whole time without making a peep. My 3 year old as she was getting her nails done the lady seemed annoyed the whole time. Then she goes to put her under the dryer and she sits there but freaks out that I wasn’t right next to her. I said«ok just come over here and you can sit by me». The lady proceeds to yell at her to get under the dryer. I said«it’s fine she is scared». My daughter sits on my lap pretty much the whole pedi. My daughter wanted to put her feet in the water and the lady says«no you are done» seriously!!! So my daughter went and sat with her brother while I finished. As I get my nails done the lady says«do you want just polish so you can get out of here faster? I said«no they are fine». Then she rushed to get me out. After I pay she says«next time if you want to enjoy yourself don’t being your kids, they make me nervous! What the heck! They did nothing!!! My 3 year old was either on my lap or on the couch with her brother. As I am drying a customer said«you know they really were both very good». She said«some kids would be running around but they were well behaved. I’m glad someone thinks so. I will find another place while lovely nail rebuilds. They love doing my daughters toes and nails. Also they charge $ 6 as opposed to $ 14.

I hopped into Maila as the other place I like is still closed due to a fire and I liked it. They were efficient, their chairs were good, and the service was friendly. A plain pedicure was $ 26…a little steep, but whatevs!

Never make any appointment(I know that’s bad). Went in today and had to wait anywhere from like 5 – 10 mins which is awesome. I was in and out before I even knew it. The lady did an awesome job on my nails and their shellac actually lasts. This is my go to place as I’ve never had any complaints.

Making an appointment is pointless, you’ll still have to wait 30+ minutes. The staff is very nice and helpful but they are ALWAYS busy(which is good for them). If you don’t have time to wait, it’s very inconvenient. They do a good job though.

Normally I always go to Yaya, bcuz everyone know they are the best, but I didn’t feel like waiting the normal 2HOUR wait, so I tried this place out. The staff was super friendly and they do a better job than most places. Also, there was no wait at all, and reasonably prized If your not looking for a 2 hour wait and don’t have any outrageous request this place is very nice, but if you are, go to yaya

I love this place they are always accommodating I can always get myself and my 2 daughters in for appointments. We never wait long and they do a great job ! The price is reasonable, it is clean and open and they greet you when you come in the door. Thanks for great service!

My mom made reservations over a week in advance. Still had to wait. The pedicure was the worst I’ve ever received. My 8 year old cousin could have done a better job. I’ll probably have to go get another pedi after this since it was that bad. And yes, I’m writing this as I’m getting the pedi. This place is a joke!

Haven’t had my nails done in a long time but I used to always come here and they always did a great job I have no complaints. It would be nice if they had each person have a box with their own nail files but its prob costly esp if the customer never comes back To the above poster who didn’t want them using the razor, why didn’t you just tell them you didn’t want them to use it on you they would have gladly obliged with your request… not their fault if you say nothing bc some people really like that thing… but I didn’t think they were even allowed to use those in Michigan I thought I had heard that before

I have been procrastinating for an epic amount of time so I finally forced myself to go get a pedicure. Unable to get into my favorite place, I popped into Maila because it’s close to my house. I will say that my toes look great… but I can’t say the process was flawless. First impression — I appreciated the fact that it didn’t smell like acrylic, though the door was open so that might have helped. The décor was nice, I was greeted immediately and went right to a chair — props for no wait. I know my poor feet we’re in great shape, but you can imagine my mild fear when the woman pulled out what probably could classify as a cheese grater. I stopped going to another place earlier because I wasn’t comfortable with the near-razor that they were trying to use on my foot… needless to say, the cheese grater didn’t make me happy or comfortable. It was actually quite painful… And moreso, there were two or three occasions when I looked down expecting my cuticles to be bleeding. Thankfully, there was no blood. Add that to the three phone calls that the girl took during my pedicure… I don’t think I’ll be a regular.

I went here with my friend and we both got pedicures. We sat next to each other in massage chairs, so that was nice to get a massage and be able to chat with my friend. We also just walked in, and were seated right away. My technician was so gentle and did a wonderful job. My nail polish was perfect, no smudges or missing spots. It’s been almost a week and the polish is still on, too. Cost was $ 26 + tip, which I thought was very reasonable. I will go back.
