Very disappointed in the flower arrangement I ordered for my Dads funeral. I ordered 1 dozen red roses with green and yellow filler for $ 72. What they delivered was a half dozen red roses with daisy & mums. When I called, the lady was very rude to me before she said «well what do you want me to do about it». Very sad they would treat their grieving customers like that. I will never use or recommend their service to anyone ever.

Great company! Judy was extremely helpful. The arrangement turned out great and was delivered promptly. So much so that I had to order another!

I came home to fresh flowers from my husband. For years he’s been going to a place close to our house and they flowers were — ‘meh — at best’, but I never complained because I was getting flowers. Today I commented on how extraordinary the flowers were. He said he went to a new place — Sam’s. The flowers are gorgeous and in perfect condition. I couldn’t believe how well they were wrapped. My husband said he told the lady that I wouldn’t be home to receive the flowers for a few hours and she actually put the fragile flowers in individual water containers before she wrapped the bouquet! Wow. I told my husband that Sam’s is definitely our new florist! Thank you so much for the great service and beautiful product!

Bought my mom a corsage from a different florist for her birthday that fell apart in the box. Luckily, Sam’s was open early and was able to whip me up a new and more attractive corsage in 10 minutes as a walk in. They didn’t even bat an eye when I asked if they could make it NOW considering I was on my way to her party. Great customer service and price… I know where I’ll be buying my flowers from in Sterling Heights!!!

Went to buy flowers using their website. Clearly marked delivery to a business. Charge = $ 10. High, but hey I understand. I called, talked to Colleen. She was nice enough. I started to inquire if they deliver to Lakeside Mall, figuring yes it is 2 miles from them and I selected business on their website. The response I get, «Oh, yes, and that is $ 20.» I explain the website clearly says $ 10. «You know our driver has to get out of the car, park, etc.» I am silent and confused? I explain I am on their website and followed the rules and it clearly says $ 10 delivery fee. I inquire. «Oh, I am sorry.»
I explain that I am hesitant now to do business because of a fundamental discrepancy. She clearly doesn’t see the connection and can’t figure out why this would be concerning to me.
I mean, how do you trust a florist in the first place? You pay them $ 25, $ 50, $ 100 and you trust you will get the correct number of roses, fresh flowers, babies breath, greenery, packaging, plant food, etc. It is a business fraught with crooks.
If Sams can’t get a simple website delivery charge correct, how on earth are they going to give me value?
Sams lost a customer over a website error and over a customer service rep that is clueless on customer service and not empowered to right a wrong.

My Mother has used Sam’s for years. Two years ago we used them for my sister’s funeral flowers. I live out of state, but have used them for a few deliveries to my Mom. Recently I’m so disappointed with them that I will never use them again. I ordered a $ 40 arrangement for Mother’s Day. I happened to be visiting my Mom recently and couldn’t believe the vase was less than 6″ tall and the entire arrangement was so puny I asked her if she had taken flowers out. She hadn’t. The pictures on the website, and the descriptions do not match the product that is delivered. All in I paid $ 50 for an embarrassingly small arrangement. To make matters worse when I looked at their website and saw they have a «100% satisfaction guarantee» I called them. The person I spoke with seemed to have no idea of a policy and told me I should be grateful the flowers were still alive two weeks later. He insisted they shrunk. My Mom insisted they had not. I told him I certainly wasn’t satisfied and asked for a refund. He said he could not make an «executive decision» like that. I asked the manager or owner to call me. Neither one has. They go on an on about customer service on the website. Unfortunately, they aren’t interested in providing it. The website picture looks beautiful and full. It says the arrangement will measure 12″ by 12″. I was told that the 12 inches wide is from the very tip of any greenery poking out on either side. Same with height… you are supposed to measure the very top of the highest pedal. Mom’s arrangement was several inches off even this ridiculous way of measuring (really, you can stick a fern out really far on either side and call it 12 inches). Terrible quality and terrible customer service.

I used Sam’s Florist for my wedding flowers. I wanted some specific things for center pieces, and I may have been slightly difficult to work with. However, they sat down with me, discussed my vision, gave their advice and reccomendations. I specifically wanted arrangements that people would be able to see over, and i wanted 3 seperate types of arrangements. One cnnterpiece a wildflower mix that was wide but low so it would not obstruct people’s vision, second, there was a flat round mirror with pillar candles and flower petals on the mirror, and finally there was a glass bowl with a single candle in the center and flowers floating in the the water. All of these turned out splendid!
The bouquets were exactly as I wanted them and the boutinierres/​coursages were also lovely. As a surprise to me, my mother called the florist & asked to have the head table decorated wtih some flowers as well, in a way that would reflect my style (based on the other items I had chosen). They did a great job with this and I couldn’t have been happier.
