I miss being a Sterling Heights resident, and this was one particular reason. The library was an enjoyable, relaxing experience with plenty of seating and friendly staff.
It was easy to find what I was looking for and they children’s area was very nice too! Materials are also easy to renew on their online system.

I admit that I’m a library geek. The library is usually one of the first things I check out in a community. When I moved to Sterling Heights, though, I didn’t get to there for a while.
Recently, I began spending some time at the SHPL and liked what I saw. There are multiple floors, well organized floors. The books, DVDs and computers are abundant. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. There is even a pretty sizable used bookstore.
If you live in SH, you should check out this place. You don’t even have to whisper anymore.
