Subway

Every time I come here it takes a very long time. I came here in the morning to get a sandwich for lunch since it takes 20 mins of my half hour lunch for them to make a sandwich and ring up my sandwich, there was no one else in line or inside the building and it still took them ten minutes.

This is a newly built Subway complete with a fireplace inside. It feels more like a coffee house. The few times I’ve been here there was never a long wait and my order was correct. There’s not much difference between one Subway and another. This one stands out since it has a drive thru and a fireplace inside.

Who knew I’d end up writing a review for a SUBWAY?
Although I’ve passed this newer location daily… Thursday was the day I needed some protein & fresh veggies.
Walked in & was cheerfully greeted by Meghan L. this gal was so polished, positive & enthusiastic, I thought she may have been the owner, but she wasn’t, just worked at Subway for 7 years!
[ that alone deserves an award]
I ordered a meatball salad $ 6.50
[ do not knock it until you’ve tried it ]
She offered a double meat up sell for a $ 1, I declined
She offered a double cheese upgrade for. 50 cents, I declined
She offered me the Subway Combo, I declined
The veggies were actually looking good today, so I got
Lettuce
Spinach
Banana Peppers
Jalapeño Peppers
Purple Onions
Black Olives
Cucumbers
Pepper Jack Cheese & of course meatballs
With sweet onion dressing & chipolte dressing
The salad was Very Good!
one note, they used to assemble these salads in the to go bowl
NOW they assemble them in a large tupperware bowl & attack it with a guillotine, seems like a lot of extra clean up for the staff, but produces a nice chopped salad.

A rather new subway sub shop on van dyke that is able to add a little variety to the spice of workers that are along the mound and van dyke corridor.
Great addition to the area, and utilize the drive thru for extra speedy service!!!
