I went in here last week and was greeted and walked around by the most POLITEANDAWESOMEGUYINTHEWHOLEWORLD! His name was Ernie and I can tell you I have never met a nicer employee who cared about his job more than this guy. He was so informed and very comfortable to talk to! We ended up getting a Wildberry Iced tea that was FANTASTIC! And thanks to Ernie, I will for SURE be back many times!

Had no intention of buying anything in this place but the customer service was out standing. Yeah was a little bit pricey but I’ll tell you what you get what you pay for! some high quality tea!

Bought a nice glass teapot here but the spout chipped in about a month. The tea prices are a little crazy! Many months later someone gave me another glass teapot as a gift and first the spout chipped, then the top broke. I’m not rough with my teapots and I’ve never had a problem with breakage before so Teavana… you have nice looking pots but you need to use a little better quality glass or use some kind of reinforcement metal in areas that are vulnerable.

Piss poor way to do business: Pushy sales people condescend customers, overcharge, up-sell, up-sell, up-sell items you don’t need and treat you rudely if all you want to buy is tea. Should of trusted my first instinct. Went in after Christmas and liked the sample so I asked about pricing. Tea is sold by the ounce, 2 ounce minimum and since the sample is a blend, they make you buy 4 ounces(almost $ 40). I said I just wanted a little bit to try and asked since they just scoop it out of a bulk container, can I get 2 ounces total. Sorry, I was told and the girl just turned her back to me. I walked out. Was in the mall yesterday(a few months later) and decided to go for the 4 ounces. After I asked the guy for 2+2 ounces of the blend, he filled up two metal containers of 1 pound each(would of been around $ 300?) and tried to talk me into it. I insisted on 2+2 ounces. He started filling the cans again– WHOOPSIE… he over filled the first tea at 3.5 ounces and the second tea at 3 ounces– on a digital scale(now my 4 oz turned into 7.5). I didn’t want to sound cheap so I overlooked it. He then gave me a total and it seemed too high. When asked, he said the containers cost $ 8 each. I asked if they just had bags and I got an eye roll and a smirk, but he put the tea in bags and reweighed them and the weight was HIGHER than before! Got my money out even though I was feeling very taken advantage of and he tried to sell me a small bag of sugar for $ 8 and a tea infuser for $ 170. Got my tiny bag of tea home that cost $ 70 and meh… it taste average at best. This is how they do business: get as much money out of you ONETIME instead of trying to keep a long term customer by pricing fairly and settling down on the up-sell. Screw you Teavana, after reading other reviews from other locations, I see that these shady sales tactics are the norm for you.
