I was able to get a work physical with Dr. Gammons on short notice. I now understand why. Work physicals are commonly billed to the insurance company, mine was not. After a couple of phone calls I was able to get this resolved and billed to the insurance company. However, that was not the end of the saga. 6 months later I got another bill for a «follow-up» appointment. This appointment was 5 minutes spent with a Medical Student who read me my results(no issues) and wrote my cholesterol on the insurance form. The bill? $ 77. I have done 5 other work physicals at 5 other doctors and never had to pay out of pocket. Paying $ 77 for an appointment I did not request, all I wanted was a signed form, is outrageous. The receptionist were hard to work with, the doctor refused to call me back, despite promises from his staff, and the billing was 6 months late. Dr. Gammons office is dis-organized, rude, and more concerned about the money than your health. I would avoid this office if you can.

Don’t see this doctor if you are a female, he examined me twice at two separate appointments, he should never touch a female as part of a substance abuse exam. In fact I spoke to another doctor who agrees this was inappropriate. He is also arrogant and narcissistic, preys on the weak minded patients he sees. Please, if you are a female don’t see him, I’m not the only female he has done this too. If you are reading this and you realize you too had a «physical» exam, you were touched inappropriately.
