I had a wonderful experience today at this Advanced Auto Parts location. I was helped by Vanessa who was extremely knowledgeable and patient with my questions. My car had a check engine light on and had trouble starting. I was able to ascertain the problem code with the thing you plug into the dash, and though Vanessa couldn’t find it in the book I was able to google it. The problem code seemed to have nothing to do with the battery being bad, but we went ahead and checked the battery for charge. The machine said the battery was just fine and holding charge. The previous day I had been able to jump it to get it started so Vanessa lent me the store jumping unit. Unfortunately it didn’t work this time. I was perplexed and got ready to call a tow truck. While I was figuring that out, Vanessa had talked with a customer(I think he might have been a regular customer) and explained my problem to him. He was a mechanic and said he’d like to take a look at my car. I didn’t get his name unfortunately but he was very nice and obviously had a good relationship with this store. He listened and thought it might be the battery. He informed me that the reader machines aren’t always accurate. He was able to jump my car and after buying a new battery everything is running great and the check engine light is off. Today started out feeling like a disaster. Through the whole process Vanessa was very helpful, patient that my problem wasn’t an easy fix, and very nice. This is a place I would definitely trust, especially if you can get help from Vanessa. I’ve recently moved to the area, so it was nice feeling like I could have someone to trust with my car questions. I will definitely be returning to this location.

Extremely rude customer service. Tried to find out some information(don’t know much about cars) Manger got annoyed and gave me an attitude when I asked questions for clarity. Did not care about my concerns at all.
