I went to the Loudoun’s Farmer Market in Ashburn on Saturday, Sept. 14th and saw some great bread at the Baguette Republic stand. I was about to ask about the bread when the young woman working the booth started sticking her fingers (one by one) in her mouth to the second knuckle and sucking on them. I stood there stunned while she licked four fingers and both thumbs. I asked her how she was going to clean her hands, she shrugged and stated she didn’t know. I then walked away. They might have tongs but that was too disgusting since she was shoving her digits in her mouth then touching the bags, money and who knows what else. Too bad because the bread looked fantastic.
