My kids have been going to this center forever! My kids have had almost all of the teachers. The thing I love most about this center is the staff, they are an extended part of our family. Most of the staff has been there for a long time, which is rare in childcare because usually they have a high turnover rate…
The teachers and staff are very friendly. My son loves his teacher Ms Louisa! She’s fantastic! She sends out a newsletter to keep us informed of things going on in the classroom and she pushes the kids to be the best they can as she prepares them for kindergarten. She expects a lot out of her kids and I think that’s wonderful. So many programs boast about their curriculum and then fall short.
Ms. Adrienne was a fantastic director! And she’s truly missed. Ms. Cathy is a wonderful assistant director. The new director, Ms Jenny is great! She is very friendly and is aware of what is going on throughout the center. Since her arrival she has made a lot of positive changes throughout the center.
The most important being hiring more staff! My son was kept in the preschool room 6 months past the time he should have moved up because they didn’t have the appropriate staff. My kids have made lots of friends. They never want to leave!
They are also very accommodating. There have been a few time I was in a jam and they were able to help out on short notice by putting my son on the bus…
I would highly recommend this center!!!

Growing up, I was a KinderCare kid, and now my daughter is as well. She has been at the Cascades KinderCare for about 6 months and she absolutely loves it. The teachers are awesome and make sure that her individual needs are met. Her teachers also have great communication with me. She has learned so much from the cirriculum and it’s great to see her applying what she learned at home. I love the staff and management. They are a second family to us. I look forward to my daughter graduating from preschool and starting her endeavors in Pre-​K.

Our child has been at Cascades Kindercare since he was 9 weeks old and he is now almost 3. I feel completely at ease leaving our son in the care of the very capable teachers and administrators at this school during my work week. The staff keeps us very well informed on how our child is progressing, and the curriculum always seem to be imaginative and well thought out. Every teacher that my child has had up to date has treated him so warmly, and really seems to Love what they do. They have really helped build a solid foundation for his education. As a first time Mom starting the daycare process brought on certain level of anxiety and seeing how attentive and caring all of the teachers are took that anxiety away almost immediately. The acting director, and acting assistant director are both a pleasure and very professional to interact with. Our questions never go unanswered. We highly recommend Cascades Kindercare.

Wow. I am astounded at the previous review. My son has been coming to this center for 3 years now, ever since he was 5 months old. I was worried about sending my baby to daycare but decided to check them out after my neighbor raved about this center and how she put her 2 kids through it. I have been pretty picky with some requests and the center has always been super responsive and accommodating. Any time I call, they answer right away. They serve breakfast, lunch and a snack that are always balanced meals with veggies and fruits– which I know has helped build my son’s willingness to eat a variety of these foods. They have a published curriculum which they share what they will be doing for the month and my son has thrived in his learning. They have a new administrator starting, and I am hoping she is as fantastic as the last one.

My family joined Cascades KinderCare back when it was a Mulberry. My daughter went there when she was in fourth grade when we first moved to Sterling in 1999. Now my grandchildren go there and are being loved by many of the same teachers who were there when my daughter outgrew the school. The amazing thing about this school is the warmth and love you feel the moment you walk through the door. My grandkids never want to leave — and I find it hard to get out as well. It is our home away from home. I tell my friends my grandkids are ‘home schooled” and that is why they are so smart. Cascades KinderCare is our home away from home!

The program here does not keep children interested, and the administrator is not very involved with the children. The inability of the program to keep children interested/​occupied can lead to behavioral problems at home. That changed overnight once we found a center with caring administrators and a good program. They also had a significant lice problem that took weeks to reconcile and caused significant inconvenience and missed work hours for many families at the school. Going elsewhere and paying a little extra for a center with a full-​time curriculum director is worth the cost when weighed against the inconvenience and stress that this center created.
