I’ve had their carne asada which comes with rice frijoles molidos salad and tortilla. Carne was cooked the way I love it which is a plus. Had so much flavor. Mouth watering just thinking about it!!! Yummy food

This place is pretty awesome. My husband & I love it :) Specially carne asada !! It’s a huge couple of pieces, with rice, beans and even a side salad. It is not a good sit down environment but if you order ahead you can pick it up and take it home :) Another awesome dish there is the sopa de res, so delishhhh. I have tried the tamales and pupusas as well. I am not central american so am not really sure if thats what pupusas are suppose to taste like but I think they are great(at least the beans and cheese) !

This place is insanely good. I hate to use a trope like, «hidden gem», but that’s the only way I can describe it really. I was in the area and we were looking for somewhere to eat that wasn’t McDonald’s or anything of its ilk. We happened to walk in here. At first, I was disappointed that it appeared to only be a market(sells some great Central American food items, too). Then I noticed a few seats and a counter where I could order. I’m a vegetarian, so I figured I was out of luck. Not so – I ordered something called the paleados {sp?) simples, which was basically just an egg, avocado, cheese, and refried bean tortilla. It was $ 2.99 and could have fed me for the better part of a day. Plus, it was delicious. I also ordered fried plantains, which were greasy but I think they always are. The people I was with ordered the breaded chicken($ 10.99 and enough to feed both of them) and also loved that. They got something else I can’t remember. All told, we paid about $ 24 for the three of us to stuff our faces with some tasty Central American options, and there was still enough to bring home for another meal. This is definitely more of a takeout place, although there are some people who sit and eat or hang out to watch soccer on the tv., Regardless, the employees are extremely friendly and helpful, and even tried to tell me I spoke good Spanish. I know this isn’t really so after so many years of not using it, but I was still able to communicate with them. If you don’t at least know your numbers in Spanish for ordering purposes you might want to grab one of the nice young women at the register to help translate. They also serve desserts like helados and licuados, but I will have to try next time. I ate their earlier today, and literally woke up at 2 am just to write this review because I was so pleased. I will definitely be coming back, for takeout at the very least.
