Loudoun OBGYN

It started off fine when I started with them last year. Not sure what’s going on nowadays but it is impossible to speak to someone when you call. You are on hold for forever and end up having to leave a voice message when you call them back incase they forgot about you. I even contacted them through their web message, but no one got back to me, that was last December. Also, their only midwife has left. I’m moving on to another practice.

I really can’t say enough good things about Loudoun OBGYN.
Dr Hickman is wonderful. She is incredibly thorough and patient and I have never felt rushed during an appointment. She is personable and even remembers little details about your life & job and seems sincere when she asks how you’ve been.
She is happy to answer any questions and even write details down for you. The nursing staff is great as well, everyone is always so polite and professional and friendly. Whenever I have had questions outside of an appointment the office staff & nurses are quick to call me back and relay messages back to Dr Hickman. I also love that this practice has a certified nurse midwife on staff! And their practice is associated with the birthing inn at Loudoun hospital.

If you enjoy individualized patient care, respectful staff, timely call backs, do NOT go here. The doctors are very slow to get back to you. They seem to use a cookie-​cutter approach to all their patient problems. i. e when all they have is a hammer, all the problems look like nails. The nurses are rude too. They make jokes about your lack of ovulatio. Completely inappropriate. The doctor I saw there talks so loud that the entire waiting room knows my personal, gynecological issues. I tried to stick with this practice for a while as switching is such a pain, but I can’t put up with them anymore. They also have an office in Lansdowne with only a slightly more apt staff with the same crappy doctors, Do not take your body here.
