I went to a place that was suppose to be a super hair cut but it was not super at all. I use to come here and wanted to try new places. What a mistake that was. My head looked like Ray Charles cut it from the place that was not a super cut. Danny fixed it and was wonderful. This place is inexpensive, clean and nice. A real hidden gem. Thanks Danny and Parc City Barber Shop!

Make sure you come here with no allergies!!! Lady going by Joanne cant hear a cough… she will ask you to go to the back and seclude yourself after spraying windex all over!!’ Horrible customer service from this lady! What it pisses me off the most is that I have been a loyal customer of this establishment for well over 2 years. The only reason I will come back will be because of Joel. He is a great barber!!!

Live in Countryside, tried this barber because of the reviews. Walked in to my house and both wife and son laugh asking what I did to my hair and wondering if I lost an office bet. Will stick to my barbers in DC and Herndon.

Switched to This barber shop recently and I must say… This is one of the nicest barber shops I’ve been to. The ppl here are so friendly and kind. Joann has been cutting my hair for the past month now and I don’t think I’ll ever have another person touch my hair. Her fades are AMAZING!!!

The lady tried her best but she does not know how to cut African American hair. Terrible job of lining up.

Efficient and my 15 year old son loves Danny! My son has very curly hair(mixed) so he’s been to almost every barber in the sterling area. Getting the right cut and shape up hasn’t been easy. Danny gets it every time. On occasion he’s had to see some of the woman there and they do a comparable job as well.

Great place to get a haircut. Danny does a great job, if you can, get him. The wait is never too long and the results are great, Price is reasonable too.

I’ve never had a satisfying haircut in my entire life. So last year I started cutting my own hair with those cheap clippers you can get at target… with decent success, too! My haircut is nothing complicated, and I’ve always been upset that no professional has ever gotten it right. But after months of cutting my own hair, there were signs that I wasn’t as good at cutting my hair as I thought. I decided it was best to get someone to do a proper haircut. I come into Parc’s nervous that I’d be leaving unsatisfied. I tell my barber, Danny, what I want in vague and unclear terms. «Hair grows back, hair grows back», I nervously tell myself. He has me faced away from the mirror(facing the TV), so I’m blinded from witnessing the surely terrible scene that is occurring atop my head. But the most amazing thing happens: Danny turns me around, and my hair looks FINE. It looked like I’d always imagined it in my wildest dreams, JUSTGOOD. While holding back my tears, Danny shaves my neck, massages my shoulders, and pats my neck down with a hot towel. It may have been the happiest 60 seconds of my life. Okay so maybe my glowing 5-star review is specific to my experience, in that I’d never left a barber happy before today, so I had pretty low expectations going in. But if you’re experience is anything like mine, it will be GOOD, QUICK, and CHEAP. How hard was that?

Starting somewhere around 2009, I used to go to Parc City Barber(though I always called is Joanne’s) just about every two weeks for a a couple of years because I was always in the Sterling area a lot. But living in Oakton for about four years made it tough to just drop in for a haircut, and I ended up finding Vienna Barbers(a.k.a. Mr. Ho’s) and liking it better. Fast forward and I’ve just moved to Countryside, so the barber shop is now walking distance from my house. I used to get Joanne every time, and she always did a great job. But I guess maybe she’s off on Sundays, and seems like everyone else was there during my recent visit. A lot more men cutting hair now. Danny(heavyset Asian man), Van(little old Asian woman), Hai(tiny Asian man) and Tina(young Asian girl) were working, and I ended up with Tina. She was very friendly and smiled the whole time and kept checking to make sure I liked the way she cut my hair. You would think a high-and-tight is tough to mess up, but in reality it’s one of the toughest haircuts out there. You have to get the blending just right, or you look like a mushroom. Overall, Tina did a great job, and I walked away mostly happy with my haircut. However, I think I will miss my shop in Vienna because Tina did not shave the sides of my head all the way to the skin the way they do, even though I asked for skin length. I may have to get back there on lunch breaks or something because I work in Tysons anyway. Year after year, Parc City is a reliable, fast place to get a good men’s haircut. They also are now open on Sundays and have an ATM inside as well as take debit cards.

Price went up to $ 16 for regular haircut, but still the best walk in barber shop around. Highly recommend this shop, especially for guys.

Decided I needed to finally try out a local barber shop for a simple buzz and snip cut. Parc City does the job efficiently and well. It’s a small, typical shop in a plaza. Wait for a barber’s chair to open up, tell them what kind of cut you’re looking for, and they’ll get right to it. A hot towel and a neck cleanup are part of the cut at the end as well. I’ll be coming back for any simple cuts I need in the future. Cash only.

I am glad I found this place. Been going for 6 years. Very friendly and polite. They take their time. A good 30 minutes in the chair. Normally don’t have to wait as I go around 2:00PM usually. One thing that bothers me(hence the missing star) is they don not clean the combs or brushes or anything between cuts. Same apron too. Now they have two TV’s on the wall opposite mirror which is a good distraction. The last time I went to a Hair Cuttery(Rt. 50) in 2006, the rude Asian girl left my ear ½″ higher one side. Big hurry. Unforgivable. She never stopped talking in her native tongue the entire time. 12″ from my ear.

Best barber I’ve ever been too. Once a month a cut, straight razor on the back of the neck, warm towel and massage for 15 bucks and and the friendliest people ever!!! Never been disappointed!!! Always a professional experience and friendly!!! You feel like one of the family!

This is a pretty good place. I think the price is about $ 15 dollars and I needed a haircut. I just hopped on their chair and they took care of me. It was the usual, clippers, scissors, the usual. However, they shocked me because they put some kind of warm cream on my neck. From what I can only imagine, it was to help get rid of all of my neck hair. This place was worthwhile and if I’m in the area and need a cut, I’ll be sure to return.

Love this place. I go here once a month after my orthodontist appointments. I’ve tried a lot of barber shops over the years, and this one takes the cake. The interior isn’t anything special, but the service and haircuts are. I just walk in, give them general parameters(clippers on the sides, scissors on the top, cut what you feel is necessary, but leave what you can) and I walk out looking like a million bucks every time. These people are true professionals. i think the price is like 13? i usually just hand them a 20 and say«see you next month!» I think I’m going to get a shave too next time.
