Awful Quality of Firewood. The «Seasoned» wood I just had delivered was absolute highway robbery. Avoid this place at all costs…
I just ordered a cord of «seasoned» firewood and it was absolutely saturated with water. I’ll overlook the fact that it arrived 5 days after they said it would (at 9:45PM on a Wednesday before a snowstorm) as well as fact they almost delivered a truck load of wood chips, instead of firewood and only tell you about the quality of the firewood. I’ve had it stacked next to my woodstove for 1.5 weeks, trying to get it to dry and I still can’t get it to burn properly. Each log weighs about 4 x what it should because it is so saturated. I’ve burned 4 cord of wood this winter and had zero problems with any of it, until I bought from S&K. I understand that it’s winter and some of the may not be fully seasoned, but at the very least, don’t charge me the full $ 240!!! I’ve had great luck with these guys in the past when ordering mulch and top soil. This experience was very disappointing and I’ll never give them my business again.
