Called Sherlocks based on Checkbook review and referral from another pest control firm that did not deal with anything wild. (It’s really hard to get help with wild animal pests, by the way!) We had a mystery «dead animal» odor in the guest bathroom that lasted for months and finally concluded it was something in the exhaust vent. By the time we located Sherlocks a roofer/​gutter vendor had replaced the exhaust vent cover and had a flying squirrel (?) almost knock them off the ladder as it departed in a panic. So maybe the root cause was fixed. However, Sherlocks did a thorough inspection of possible animal entry points and found evidence of mice living in the attic insulation. They applied poison various places in the attic and garage ceiling. They also took care of a persistent yellow-​jacket infestation on our large deck planter that limited use of the deck. All in all, we got good advice and good service from Sherlocks at reasonable cost. The odor is gone; and no yellow-​jackets after their treatment last year (2015) and so far this year. Will call Sherlocks again if we have a pest problem.

These guys were great. I had birds break thru my vent, some died and had bird mites. They were very knowledgable about the situation, came out on time, cleaned it all out for a good price. I called several folks that couldn’t even handle birds, including my current pest company. I would recommend them.

As a Realtor who has been recommending Sherlock’s Pest Control for many, many years, I obviously really appreciate Jay Sherlock and George, who always bend over backwards to go the extra mile for me. He’s done many, many inspections for me and I trust him implicitly. He never «finds» termites when there aren’t any. He’s helped me get rid of a snake in an attic, mice, termites, bugs, birds, squirrels and advised me on what to do about bats.
I think Eric W’s review is a mistake. I don’t know anyone there named Mike and I believe Eric has the wrong company. I wholeheartedly endorse Sherlock’s Pest. He’s a great guy, very diligent, and he’s the best, in my book.

These guys have a contract with my homeowner’s association to service two units in my building a month… so I set up an appointment with them last October. The guy (think his name is Mike) shows up half an hour late, compares me to his little daughter because I was afraid of the bugs, tells me there’s nothing they can do that I’ve already done, and collects the money from the hoa. No follow up or anything. I’m sure whatever they charged the hoa was a stellar rate for them since it was only 5 minutes worth of work.
