Thrive

Thrive and Joe Estrada were among three tree and landscaping companies recommended to me by an arborist. They trimmed two trees, cabled one, and removed three.
Their work was prompt, incredibly professional, and well done. My trees look great. Some things I appreciated:
— They did more than asked. When they moved heavy equipment across my yard they put down pads to minimize lawn damage.
— The proposal was detailed and itemized (unlike another proposal I got)
— The tree crew over-​communicated — asking about parking, removal of cut wood, and placement of woodchips I wanted to keep.
— A lot of value for the price. They weren’t the least expensive, but they also weren’t the most expensive bid. They were the best bid.
I’m looking forward to working with them in the future, and I’ve recommended them to my neighbors.

We contacted this company in early summer after they were recommended by a tree care specialist — we needed to have several trees pruned. They sent someone out promptly, he examined the trees and promised a quote. In mid-​November we e-​mailed the company to ask for the quote — they apologized profusely and promised to get right on it. No response. I called Dec 6 — same reaction, terribly sorry, will get it to you today. One week later — still no quote. We can only assume they weren’t interested in the job — but why didn’t they say so? Otherwise they are incredibly incompetent. We’re taking our business elsewhere.
