I had a really great experience with REC. Their rep Amir Maki was one of the best reps I ever met in any business. He really knows his stuff backwards and forwards. I grilled him for hours that first day, and then for weeks on end until I felt completely comfortable signing that 20 year contract. He made everything really make sense to me. I would never have done it otherwise. We’re really glad we did. We have locked in our monthly bill for the next 20 years, and that includes all maintenance. So we will never have to pay anything other than our locked in monthly for the next 20 years. And we only put $ 3k down. I also really like the fact that REC uses better equipment than the other guys.

We talked to many solar companies before going with REC, and got bids from several and we are thrilled we went with REC. The customer service has been fantastic, they even submitted our paperwork for our HOA’s approval! Our salesman, Amir was very knowledgeable and helpful, coming out to our house after 8pm with our contract to insure we qualified for a rebate which was expiring the next day. Their bid came in lower than the others and the experience has been fantastic. The crew that installed the solar was friendly and they also repaired some of our broken tiles that were pre existing while they were up there. Scott from their field crew personally came out to rectify a situation that was beyond their control and took care of it immediately! Since getting on the grid, our bills have been cut drastically; we are actually in the negative now! Bottom line: If you are thinking about going solar, I highly recommend REC.

Rec Solar was just one of a few solar companies we sought bids from. Salesman Tawan did a great job working with us to negotiate our deal. The installation crew, led by Mauricio was amazing! They were professional, neat and very nice to deal with. Hard workers, especially Diego and David, stayed late every day to make sure all the work for that day was complete. They were considerate of the fact that we had just planted many plants in our yard for an upcoming wedding and they didn’t disturb a thing!
They were all there on time each day, stayed late if waiting for an inspector. I highly recommend using REC Solar if you are considering the change.
