Been here 5 times and the rating stays the same. I agree with other reviewers. Wings are very small and pricy. Food was passable, but last time, the fries were so undercooked. My son’s fries were golden brown. Mine were white. Staff was friendly, but overwhelmed. Waitress spilled entire glass of tea was spilled all over his lap and table. They dropped off extra napkins, but left us to do the damage control and clean up. Annapolis offers more compared to KI.

I ate here for a birthday lunch and it was pretty good! We all had buffalo wings, shrimp and crab sliders as appetizers and they were delicious! I had the chicken and shrimp Alfredo as my main entrée and it was lot better than I thought! Good portions, friendly service and the place was pretty clean! I would love to come back!

Visited for the first time, great menu, great beer, friendly staff! Will be going back!

Do not order the fish and chips. Under seasoned and under cooked. Bought from CISCO and dump in the deep fryer. Grandkids liked their dinners. Chip need seasoning. Not the worst, but not the best.

Excellent service! Kerry was phenomenal — she recommended the nachos and the waffle sundae and both were amazing! I would definitely drive back over the bay bridge just to have Kerry serve us drinks and foods at big bats. We had a wonderful time! We definitely will be back soon!

Nice place to grab some great tasting wings. Casual with a lot of TVs. Service is most of the time pretty good. Burgers are also good. Parking can be a challenge when they are busy.

Hit or miss. Carry out gets orders wrong/​incomplete, even when taken back and re-​ordered. Good neighborhood atmosphere.

so I’m here right now 1130pm on a sat. There is 11people here. I brought 5. My wife ordered a drink it took 10min to make and I didn’t get to order a drink for 15min. They don’t have food. Then I opened a tab, the 2 bar tenders made fun of my name because it’s LLOYD.(wow) I’m sitting at the bar this is how you treat customers??? The girl bartender is now texting on her phone the whole time. This place sucks… This is why this place is so empty you can’t treat people like trash and not finish making a drink mid order to take a phone call/​text.
I have been here a lot before this is not what I expected but maybe my group of 5 isn’t what they need or want in this bar? Is this the way the owner thinks it should be run

I like this place. Friendly staff and tons of locals make it a fun hang out. Love the outdoor space in the summer and Karaōke is always a hit.

We have ordered carry-​out twice in the last two months and the food has been delicious. We ordered the shrimp fajitas, bacon cheddar burgers and crab dip. All very good and the service efficient.

Loved having it with my mom growing up! Good wings:) Warm atmosphere. somewhat of a «locals» restaurant. Haven’t been there in a while but I don’t know why it isn’t rated higher.

My family went here the other day after house hunting on the Eastern Shore Maryland. My wife, previously a resident of Kent Island was formerly familiar with this place. We went late afternoon, around 2PM or so, and had our 3yr old boy and 15 mo old little girl so we weren’t going for the bar. We sat down and of course little man has to «go potty» so I take him to the bathroom.
The bathrooms were in decent shape. Not messy but not impressively clean either. 2.5 our of 5 for the bathroom.
We sat in the restaurant part and I was able to watch the O’s game while eating. The table was a bit rough. It was clean, but a bit ratty. They have baseball cards under laminate which is cool, but a lot of the table was cracked and old. Fix your tables, 2.5 out of 5 for the dining area.
The kids just had hotdogs they were boiled and seemed fine, but my wife had the Southwest Burger and I had the buffalo chicken sandwich. The food came out fast and hot. I was actually impressed with my chicken sandwich. I’ve ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich in many different places and this was the best I’ve ever had. It was served on a roll with what I think was cheddar cheese melted on top, the buffalo sauce was great and the chicken breast was just the right size. My wife said she enjoyed her burger very much as well. Keeping in mind that this is a sports bar and not Ruth’s Chris steak house, the food was great. 4.5 out of 5.
Our waitress was very nice. She checked on us just the right amount of time. She had the knowledge to bring out the kids hotdogs first without us asking her to do so. All the staff seemed very nice as well. 4.5 out of 5 for service.
We will definitely go back. I was surprised to read the negative feedback after going here. I suppose it’s hard to make everyone happy. 4 out of 5 over all.

I’m not sure why this place is getting such mixed reviews. I’ve been here 3 – 4 times in the last couple months and never had any issues with food or service. Given, I’ve only been during lunch time, maybe the neg reviews are for dinner experience? For me, the staff has always been friendly, food comes out within a reasonable amount of time, and it tastes ok.

I ate here a few weeks ago with a friend. We seated ourselves, even though there was a sign that said «Please wait to be seated». I have a feeling we would have been waiting awhile.
The dining area is separate from the bar, but there is an open window between areas, which means it can get pretty loud in the dining area.
The waitress was prompt, friendly and efficient. We ordered the nachos for an app and they were very good.
I ordered the cheese steak, which I couldn’t eat because I had too many nachos. I took a few bites and it seemed ok. The fries were good too.

If your looking to have Some beers and watch a game this place is great (as long as you can wait for a refill…) other than that the food is sub par and lacks consistency. You can order a mr burger but expect it to be over cooked, the food is greasy and undesirable.

We always stop here for lunch on our ride to Rolling Thunder. Great sports bar/​biker bar. Food was good bar grub served fast. There were 12 of us and all of our meals came out quickly. Nice selection of beers on draft.

As a die-​hard Orioles fan, I love the baseball-​theme, and the fact that the bar is packed with orange-​and-​black during ballgames, even weeknights. The stools at the bar are made from Louisville Sluggers, and they have some good beers on tap, and prices are pretty reasonable. I would give the bar three stars, although they only had two bartenders on staff for a packed house, and it took over 10 minutes just to get a draft beer.
The wings are pretty good, I’ve had the Chesapeake Rub and the buffalo-​style, and they were piping hot and tasty, but a little too dry. I tried to order a special, only to find out later they were sold out. I ordered off the menu, then found out about 10 minutes later they were out of that too. I eventually said, «What do you have?» I ended up with a buffalo chicken sandwich. Review? The same thing said about the wings could be said about the sandwich.
I was really disappointed by the food, because I think that the idea of a local baseball bar is cool, and the memorabilia is fun.

Big Bats used to be a top spot in the area, had a niche, Sports Bar, good prices, food etc… that was 5 years ago.
Big Bats has been on a slow decline for years, they now have it where if you order a burger, you get: Plate, Bun, Burger. Thats it, no toppings, unless asked, no fries. Fries are $ 2.50 for an order
The food is subpar at best.
RIP Big Bats.
