The office is nice, but there is a ridiculously high turnover rate with the receptionists and nurses. They seriously cannot keep people there. Dr Miller is good, but Dr Cockrell is kinda rude & brisk. The glasses selection is nice if you want something super trendy or super basic. Good selection for kids glasses. I haven’t had it done, but they do the eye laser surgery there.

Timely, professional, kind, and straightforward. I was glad that my doctor took a direct means of explanation, but I was a bit overwhelmed because he jumped right into diagnosis mode the first time we even met (my eye had a pretty serious pain and redness). That being said, all of my interactions (I’ve had about 6 or 7 appointments) have been positive. They tried working around my budget (aka not much money and a high deductible) while, at the same time, giving me the best treatment (several times my doctor would ask for a second opinion from another doctor on staff). I didn’t have a cheap injury, but, considering the medical world, what’s new? As far as I can tell (I’m no eye expert), Cockrell Eyecare Center is excellent.
